I suffered some neurological damage and couldn’t walk for a while. While I was in the hospital, my wife and I bought just about every ambulatory device we could think of. It really works well. I will say that it is a good deal faster than I expected. Due to my lack of coordination we had to touch up the paint on the walls where I didn’t get the corners quite right. It’s a really good chair and I highly recommend it.

I love the look of the chair and it works great. It’s very heavy though and will need someone strong to move it in and out of a vehicle. I had some trouble getting it to open up and contacted the number on the enclosed card. I only let the phone ring a few times before I hung up as I was going to call back at a better time. To my surprise… The seller contacted me via text to see if they could help. She then called me and I explained my problem. Within 10 minutes I was forwarded some instructions as well as a video and we got the chair up and running!! Fantastic customer service!!

I really needed this – my first wheelchair.I’ve had it for 3 days so these are my first thoughts – more to come I’m sure.I’ve looked at a lot of these and I wanted to avoid the Chinese products. Rubicon’s statement that they were proud to be an American company won me over…The box arrived – on one side, in large characters was printed MADE IN CHINA!! To put it kindly; I was really ####### disappointed!First look: The remote is not at all intuitive! It does work if you can figure out the right combination of buttons. after 2 days I still feel that it’s a matter of luck to get it to work. After the first ride I realized that the battery was basically dead. After an overnight charge it ran well – on a flat sidewalk. ” Operate this motorized wheelchair in grass, gravel, or snow ……” I was hoping this would allow me to work in our large garden. There is a downhill gravel drive to get there – no, it won’t even move downhill on gravel! I pulled over to bark mulch and it was smooth riding – downhill only. On grass, it was fine though I didn’t have a slope to try it on. The wheels lack grip.I will add to this after a week.the original charge on the battery was lower than expected. After an overnight charge, I was surprised at the improvement. My wife walks regularly and I went with her on about a 1 1/2 mile “walk”. We have some pretty good hills in the neighborhood and the chare took them like a champ. I haven’t tried the garden yet, but I expect improvement. I’m not expecting much on the gravel. Rubicon Mobility sent me a well printed and illustrated (English) user’s manual which was appreciated. I now have also a 6′ ramp to put the chair in my minivan. The chair runs up the ramp like it was going home!
