Customer Review –
Rollator Walker for Seniors, Foldable All Terrain Walker with Seat, 8″ Rubber Wheels and Backrest, Built-in Cable Lightweight Aluminum Walkers with Adjustable Height (Purple)I have tested and used many rollators w/family patient. This is one of the top rollators I have tested. There are fairly standard features I look for in a rollator and when missing or not executed with care, it shows…Positives:1. Push-button releases for the handle adjustments. Some Rollators don’t use the push button and use those dastardly embedded push-button things… which are REALLY hard to adjust.2. Folds Left-to-Right (vs front to back) allowing it to easily stand up in say a restaurant when folded. The world is NOT as welcoming to physical limitations. Often, clothing racks, etc. are TOO close together so this rollator lets it be partially folded and rolled in narrow areas.3. Clip to hold closed – holds the left and right fail closed – missing on many – an important feature!!4. Cup holder This is a robust cup holder with a tall mesh net (and it is not cheapo thin nylon)5. Cane holder with easy-to-use Velcro style strap on the top, cup on the bottom6. Padded seat – not too thick or thin.7. nice WIDE and padded backing. This is also fairly easy to remove and install by taking off the top push handles, unscrewing the wingnuts and sliding it off. Other still that just snap into place are, in my opinion, better. We usually take them off and leave them off if they are not a transport chair (where it would be more expected to always be available.) Removing the back allows for easier and less bulky closed rollator.8. Awesome tires. Not TOO hard allowing for a cushioned ride and not too soft so runs better if off-pavement. Tires have knoby tread on outside and inside edges of tires for digging into dirt, sand, grass, etc. but the top of the tires are smooth and channeled which gives a smooth ride on paved areas and yet the channels help when on wet pavement.9. Brakes are very nice. They have a different design than normally found. Springs on each side slides the plastic “brake show” up and down on the frame. There are not sharp teeth, only smooth surface which is all that is necessary. They won’t rip up tires.10. reflectors in the back and on sides – so can be seen in the dark with approaching headlights.11. Great storage bag complete with shoulder strap and inner liner, zipper, and reflective stripe along front.Cons:1. OK.. BRAKE cables need some thoughtful design.THIS ONE has some cable management along bottom (orange clips are awesome but not enough and the cables flop around left and right and can easily get hooked on objects. This unit does not fold down after it folds left-to-right so embedding the cabling within the frame is much easier and done on the best-of-class rollators.2. Curb helper steps on the back of the unit point down instead of out – that is odd.3. Does not fold down. So takes up a lot of space in the vehicle when traveling with it.Great rollator – could be amazing with a few tweeks.

This is a well-designed walker with a lot of attributes that give me confidence that my parents are going to be able to use it with safety and ease. My mom recently came out of the ICU, having beaten a bilateral pneumonia but requiring a tube–we didn’t know if she was going to make it, and she’s only 66. Well, hopefully that was a wakeup call on health and wellness, and certainly standard mobility and fitness, because she needed oxygen after coming out and had trouble getting around. She doesn’t want a walker, but has to use one right now, so I picked this up because I knew they’d need one in the long run anyway. This walker is really the cadillac of walkers, I guess! Lots of useful bells and whistles that seniors can quickly manage on their own without needing to call someone to intervene. I love that wheels articulate in a way that makes it way easier to to move the walker right in the direction you want to go, without have to pick it up or put tennis balls on the poles. I really like how easy it is to press down on the brake locks to make the rear wheels park in position–makes it much easier and safer to sit down on the seat or fuss with your cane if you have one in the provided crutch. It also fold up pretty nicely for storage behind a door, or between a washer and dryer, etc. The brakes are reliable and an easy way to slow the unit down if some momentum gets too troubling for the user. I really like that she can take it around the block, but stop whenever she wants and also sit down and take a break if necessary. This is huge for motivation and comfort with continuing to exercise and stay well. Also, the seat back is fully adjustable along the rails of the main support handles, so they can make the seat as comfortable for their body as they like.My only 2 whines about this unit are the instructions and the bottom of the bag. All the pictures of the finely detailed moments are way too small, and the colors in the elements of the pictures too similar, so it’s hard to tell what they are even trying to say should be done. So I had to hunt down a few spots to get things headed in the right direction. I’ve attached some images here of the moments that are hard to find, like the crutch clip bolt which is along the bottom, and how the bag fits with an envelope style along the slender rail. Overall, well-made, just need to increase picture size to make easier instructions. Also, the hard plastic bottom of the bag has to be taken out when you fold it up, or it will bend and hold that position long-term, kinda annoying.Very happy to pick this up for my mom as she manages the transition back to normal life, and for the long term if they continue to have mobility issues. It’s a 4.5 for me, dinged because of the instruction issue, but that rounds here to a 5 and I think you’ll feel good having this unit for your loved ones.
