Update: What a great chair! I had the freedom at Niagara Falls that I haven’t had in a few years. I went everywhere I wanted to go ( even Maid of the Mist. Covered the Joystick and chair with rain poncho and enjoy the water in my face. Lots of pep and comfortable to sit in for several hours. Great buy!I bought this wheelchair for our upcoming Niagara Falls trip. I have difficulty walking any distance after major back surgery. I have only used it around our neighborhood to get use to it and let me say this baby has some power. I had no problem on grass and gravel. Joystick takes a little getting use to but with a little practice it is fine.

I am a 250 lb double amputee. I have a nice six wheel Center wheel Drive chair for inside. It can go outside, but it is a rough ride and about 4 MI total distance on a charge. I wanted something that could go further and be a smoother ride and easier to control in uneven conditions. Because of this I wanted a chair style more than a scooter Style for safety and comfort. I received the chair yesterday(2 days into shipping window, California to Oregon) it came out of the box very simply and you just unfold it, latch the back down and screw the control cable into the battery and you’re ready to go. The battery indicator said it was full so I took it for a spin. However I was disappointed at how slow and how far it could go before I was at half battery life. So I came home and plugged it in just in case. The next day I took it out not expecting much and thinking I would probably return this chair. Boy was I wrong:-) I was able to go roughly 3 miles before dark and it is still on full battery indicator. Sure had much more power today. It also handles quite well for a rear Drive chair. It has a true 360° controller (look for that in the description of any chair you are considering) so it is much more sensitive to a slight Direction Change versus choppy 8 point controller. I am sure this is part of the price. It has a good seat. I was in it for almost 2 hours and totally felt fine. The lighter you are probably the longer you can sit in it. I am sure I could go all day if I needed to. It is velcroed on so you can change it if you need to. Keep in mind I can’t stand up and take a break for a second I have to stay in the chair until I can transfer to something else. It does very well on uneven bumpy roads and uneven grass. My other chair is a much rougher ride and would not be able to go in the grass at all. My run today had several steep inclines and of course the steeper they are the slower you go. It has automatic brakes that come on progressively as you let off the power . If you need to stop quickly you just let go of the controller and it will bring you to a fast stop . Once you are stopped the brakes lock (you hear a click) and then you are locked in place. If you are on an incline you will stay there. One thing that might take some getting used to is driving on a road with a crown to it.(most roads) this means you have to steer slightly sideways to go straight because you are fighting the tilt. The way the chair handles this is to break on the high side just a little to keep you going straight. So you go a little slower in these conditions. Most sidewalks are fairly flat so you can make better time on them when available. (after several trips)I have taken this chair all over the place, in many conditions. All in all I am quite pleased. It goes a long way! One caviate; if you live in steep hilly areas like (San Francisco) you will get less distance. It requires more power to push you up hills. I’ve taken it into many restaurants, the DMV, farmers market and several parks with long paths. I have received several compliments on how nice it looks. All in all it’s a great traveling chair and so so indoor chair, compared to a center wheel drive style. Oh I almost forgot. I have taken one trip in a car with it. It folds up easily and fits in the back of our Ford escape easily. My 23 yr old son says it’s light. Hope this has been helpful in your knowledge of motorized chairs in general and this chair specifically. Have a blessed life.

Dear Heriberto: I am Mia, the customer service agent who assisted you with your return order. Attached is the result of the feedback from the warehouse. Please check it out. I don’t know if you purchased an item that meets your needs, here are some notes on purchasing a wheelchair online that I hope will help you. Online Wheelchair Buying Advice: Wheelchairs for daily home use and frequent outing use will differ in wheelchair material and weight, such as home use you can buy a strong and durable metal wheelchair, but the weight will be very heavy, such as outing use it is recommended to buy an aluminum alloy ultra-light wheelchair. The battery weight of each wheelchair car will also be different, if you need a lighter battery easy to remove, we also recommend that you consult well in advance, because it is a large product, most online stores non-quality issues generally do not return shipping, please consult with you before you place an order, to avoid possible follow-up due to the weight or size of the inappropriate return shipping costs. Whether the trunk can fit: you can confirm whether the wheelchair you need to buy can fit in your trunk. Generally merchants will mark the folded size. I have listed the problems that customers often encounter in the daily purchase and return, so that it is convenient for you to choose and buy: 1. Whether the folded size can be loaded into the trunk. 2. Wheelchair weight and battery weight 3. Battery warranty 4. If it is a non-quality problem. If it is not a quality problem, if you don’t like to return the product, will you pay the return fee? If you need to contact me at any time. Wish you a happy life. Your exclusive customer service MiaAttachments:Treasury Feedback Form.pdfDid this solve your problem?(We’ll share this feedback with the seller to help them improve their service in the future.)YesNoSep 1, 2024 7:12 PMHow many hours is on it. It’s quick, easy to use and really does come fully assembled. This is a huge quality of life improvement. I bought this particular chair because it’s only 20” wide and much more suitable for doorways and tight spaces like bathrooms. Most chairs like this are 24” wide, the 4” matters a lot. Two things for potential buyers: make sure you really can lift something that weighs 50#. Second, chairs of this design are both powered and steered by the two wheel hub motors. Don’t expect to make a sharp turn while going through difficult terrain like carpet or a lawn, because you’re basically shutting off one motor to do the sharp turn. Keep maneuvers broad and sweeping, and the wheel chair does fine on rougher terrain.
