This is light enough and compact enough when collapsed to fit most car trunks or small SUVs. The battery is easy to remove for charging indoors while leaving the wheelchair folded in the car. My wife easily controls the speed and steering. It is easy to maneuver in store aisles. It is actually very sturdy to my surprise. It is easy to expand and collapse with a locking lever just under the front of the seat. The foot rest tilts up and simple wheel lock levers make egress easy and safe. This was the ideal present for my wife. We aren’t spring chickens and she was easily operating it safely almost immediately. In my mind, this is probably the most reasonably priced option for someone who needs short term mobility help for shopping in large stores.

I like that this is a lightweight electric wheelchair. However having said that, this it’s not worth the money. In the video on this, it shows a guy riding thru the grass, nope that’s a no go, as in it will not go thru grass or gravel, It has major problems going in grass. It also will not go in reverse. I started to return this and was informed I had to pay return shipping fees of $75.00. Plus other fees that I could incur. I cancelled the refund request and put this down to a well learned lesson. I will deal with what I have and hope to find someone local that can work on the controls. Bad decision on my part when I ordered this. Take your money elsewhere !

I am very happy with the product and especially the price. It’s one the lightest (30 lbs) chairs and very easy to fold and operate. It would be tight and uncomfortable for a heavy, big built person. But for a 5’9″ 185 lb person like me, it’s perfect and very comfortable. Video is accurate. Highly recommendable.

just got this yesterday so far.1 the front wheel do not hit your feet if you place them on thr foot rest properly. 2.battery removes easily for plane trips.(will charge in or out of wheelchair.3. control works well 4 its smaller size allows me more access to other rooms inKmy home.5 hand brake is easily accessed to get in and out fo chair. I will update as I use more.UPDATE I used it for hospital tests ,my wife (84) was able to load and unload the chair easily.

TERRIBLE! –
This chair is a piece of crap. It didn’t last a yr before completely broken. From day 1 it won’t lock. Needed a bungee cord to keep shut. Closes on me all the time when I’m in it! Encounter the slightest bump and the front wheels go back folding the chair and pushing me out to the ground. I couldn’t count how many times this happened. Company was terrible to deal with. Told me to find a box & mail it back (at my cost) Hello I’m in a wheelchair! How am I supposed to do that?! She told me I could check the super market for a box or ask a neighbor!?!?The final call, I threaten to have a lawyer call when I get hurt. They sent me a you tube video on how to fix myself (tighten a screw) Seriously! Thats all? after all those calls? That didn’t work anyway. Neither the seller nor Galenus Medical would help. The screws come out all the time, the ams has fallen off twice, the chair still moves after you let go of the joystick, NO WAY it’s 30lbs., the seat is sagging (I am 120lbs), the wheels hit your feet if they are on the foot rest, the arms don’t lift or fit under a table, and now the front wheel came off and can’t be fixed since the inside is stripped and won’t hold the screw. Absolutely furious I spent $1000 on this piece of crap and very disappointed in Galenus Medical for not helping more to resolve the issues

I bought this for my 95 yr old dad, it’s light enough I can lift it by myself and put it in my car. Great in theory but it’s too fast even on low speed plus it’s difficult to maneuver – the control is sloppy. I’m going to try to return it.

This wheelchair is as advertises, and it really does weigh just 31lb. I looked at a number of wheelchairs, and there was quite a number that advertised light weight, but the battery life may have been shorter, or the instructions for opening and closing were more complicated than this chair. The chair is very stable, easy to use, and very easy to open or close.I did purchase a foam cushion for the seat. You are provided with a pad to make it more comfortable, however it was not enough for me.I have used this chair in rather crowded places and was able to navigate and not run anyone down!
