My 10 year-old had major surgery on her legs which required a bedside bathroom. This toilet is very sturdy and not flimsy at all. The side/bars/handles go down making it easy to transition her from one place to the toilet. Insurance did not cover a bedside toilet for us, but I don’t think they would have sent home this nice one anyway. My daughter likes the cushy seat as well. We ended up screwing the splash guard to the bottom of the seat to make it more secure.

My mother is a 92 year old who needs assistance. This item fits over her toilet and when she needs to stand up is a solid item with hand rails that help her greatly. Its sits solidly over her toilet and she can really press hard on the handles when standing up. A great help for her!

My 90-something Mom loves this commode cuz it’s comfortable and very sturdy. You can tighten the arms with provided wrench so it will always be sturdy. I got another commode that had wobbly arms which could not be tightened & had to return it cuz Mom was terrified to use it. And that one had over 2,000 reviews! This is a bit tricky to put together but doable. Overall good purchase & clearly way better than the one with a zillion reviews.
