This walker was purchased for our 98 year old brother-in-law who lives in the independent section of a CCRC community. He had not been open or willing to use a walker, even though he had experienced some falls, until he saw another resident who was using the ELENKER Upright Rollator Walker. After seeing her use it, he asked me to order it for him. He is so happy! He walks with security, stands upright, not hunched forward, as with traditional walkers, and he walks quite fast, since it improved his gait. He feels it has tremendously helped him to maintain his independence and he feels he is a role model for other residents, in using this newer style walker.The Elenker Walker meets and exceeds what is depicted in the marketing videos for this product. It is easy to fold for transport in our car or for when our brother-in-law uses the community shuttle bus for attending events both within and outside the facility.Most importantly is the psychological effect of giving our brother-in-law more support, when walking, that he is walking normally, not bent over and the walker has made him more comfortable going out of his apartment. He truly is very happy with this walker, which, to us, is amazing, considering he didn’t want anything to do with using a walker. The upright walker is truly a great concept!I have sent in a suggestion, to the technical support department, recommending the revision of their assembly instructions to make the wording and pictures clearer to the person who might be assembling the walker, which, in this case, was me! 😊 No tools are required to to assemble the walker, that is shipped in a compact carton, with the majority of components pre-assembled.

ATTN: When I sent in for warranty repairs I noticed that I didn’t press submit on my review (missed out on 30 dollar refund a folding cane and a cup holder! Still swear by it!) I bought this unit after ordering a up walker for $900 and was told it would be weeks before it could ship. This unit cost way less and arrived in 3 days!! It was easy to assemble and able to be put to use in no time. I use it to help me adjust to my prosthetic for a below the knee amputation on my left leg. this unit is very stable and easy to adjust along with being light weight! Although the UP WALKER has bars to assist in standing from a sitting position and a seat that slides farther forward to let you take a little longer stride it doesn’t overtake this unit because it is so stable and seat doesn’t interfere that much! and this unit is easier to load into a vehicle lighter by 18 lbs!!! Trust me save your money and purchase this item its a god send and a true value!!!

I like it for the most part. It was pretty easy for 2 people to put together. Took us about 30 minutes. The arm supports are very easy to adjust. The handle bars/brake handles are easy to attach and adjust in length easily, but if you extend them out farther, the they move from side to side and don’t stay firm.The seat is a bit small. This is rated for up to 300lbs and a person that size would not find this comfortable. It’s 18″ wide by 9″ deep (front to back). It’s also 21″ from the floor which seems like it would be great but because it’s a soft seat, it sags a bit when you sit on it which reduces the width just slightly and also the height. It would be better with a rigid seat that still could be pulled up in the center like this one does (I have that on my other walker and it’s much better than the soft seat)The oversized wheels are excellent and the walker moves very easily over any terrain. The main reason I bought THIS particular brand/model tho, is the fact that it easily folds to make it much easier to put/fit in a car. It’s a bit heavier than I’d like but that is understandable and what is needed to make it nice and sturdy. By myself, I still should be able to lift and put in my trunk. Overall it’s a great walker.
