After doing a lot of research on Galenus Medical and elsewhere (medical supply houses), I ordered our 1st of these potty assists for my 94 year old father to use in his memory care at Sunrise. It worked great for him – prompt delivery, very easy to assemble, fits great in tight spaces, sturdy. My mom used it too, no problem.Facing a knee total replacement myself, I ordered my second one of these exact potty assists for myself – and I am so glad that I did! What a game changer. I used it the first days next to bed with the optional insert (great for middle of the night use), and will be using it over our toilet as a brace as I continue my recovery. The seat is comfy too. Our bath is very small, with tp holders intruding into the limited space- but to my relief, it fits! Highly recommend. This is my first Galenus Medical review after hundreds of purchases – I am sharing simply to help others as their reviews helped me.

Just got out of the hospital and was looking for something that would get here quick that my dad could build for me and it has been perfect. Easy to set up and comes with a commode basin if you need. Comfortable and sturdy too.

Easy to get off off. I have had to strain to get off my toilet – my legs don’t work so good no more – and pushing up had become a “Can I make it today?, kind of question”. Now, I can make it with ease. I set it at almost the highest setting and it’s a breeze to go to the restroom, now. Great product, would recommend.
