This chair is sturdy and well constructed. My Mom has gotten to the point she can’t walk stable without stumbling so this chair fits in the tiny doorways and it’s perfect to take to doctors appointments. She’s had so many falls that I had to do something. The ride is smooth and I’m glad I purchased it. I just need to find like a basket or bag to put her stuff in when she goes to doctors. The chair folds down with one click of a button. Easy transport.

The chair is really nice, but the seat is tilted back at a slight angle so you have to prop up the person sitting in the chair with pads in order for them to be sitting up straight. Otherwise their back is angled and their head is in a constant fight to stay upright. I would return it, but I already threw away the box

Although the chair is as advertised, weight wise, and ability to fold, we found it very unstable. Going over any outside roughness makes it wobbly and getting over any bump is a problem even a bathroom door sill. When my wife whose weight was far below the chairs specifications, put her feet on the foot rest, she twice tipped backwards and fell out of the chair. The center of gravity shifts when feet are put on the foot rest. Knees are not parallel with floor, but raised angled backward and that backward motion makes it tip backward.The only one I would recommend for this chair is a light small child.

This transport chair helps me to move my elderly mother from her to the bathroom. She’s no longer mobile so instead of lifting and carrying her 56 pounds weight, this chair does most of the work. She’s very petite, 4’7″ so it fits her small frame perfectly. Best of all is our barn door to the bathroom is narrow so this compact chair makes a huge difference! Easy to navigate around the hallway corners and it’s lightweight. We’re very happy with this purchase
