I have Pulmonary Fibrosis and I am in a hospital bed 24/7 now. I use to get bed sores and now with my new mattress I am noticing any new bed sores and the ones I had are going away. I have no problems with a little hissing noise…Some people talk in their reviews like its horrible sounding but I have no problem what so ever. I guess if you move around a lot it might make more noise.

Very easy to set up. Just took time for it to fill up with air. Very good and circulating air inside on a daily basis.

Installation is very easy and the pump is very quiet. The only issue relating to the product is the pressure adjusting increment, or decrement jumps in tens of pounds instead of +/- 5 lbs with each press of the adjusting buttons (+/-) on the controller panel as stated in online product description and in manual that comes with the product shipment. Contacted service about the issue, and had partial refund. The point of having this mattress is to reduce risks of pressure ulcer developments on a patient’s body. I do not anticipate it to be very comfortable because the air pockets inside take turns and patterns to inflate and deflate, but I did not notice any complaints by the patient. The patient did not get the chance to stay on the product long enough before moving on to a hospital for treatments so I can not really comment on the results of using the product on pressure ulcers, but did notice the existing ulcers were getting healed. Suggest manufacturer to make changes to product descriptions online and in the manual. Over all, I am satisfied with the product.
