I was extremely pleased with the quality and design of this chair. It is very sturdy, rigid and strong. There are many transport chairs available for half the price of this one, they may be lighter but they are very flimsy. The locking mechanism, pull up handle for transport while folded, shock absorbers front and back, wheels are all so well designed and of quality materials. It fits easily through a standard 3.0 x 7.0 door frame, so I can wheel my elderly parent right up to the front of the toilet so they only need to stand, turn, and sit. You will not be dissapointed.
Champolin –
Very sturdy packaging & fast delivery. Had trouble folding back up the 1st 4 times, but once it loosened up a bit, works fine. Innovative design. Like the fold up footplate, the slight dip in the wipeable and wider arm rests, the telescoping pull handle, and the larger back wheels. The padding on the cushion is OK, but the velcro attaching it to the seat is not too strong; the cushion slips around with motion and transfers. The swing up arms are great too, and do not interfere with transfers; when fully raised, the angle piece is just over 3″ of the 15″ length of the cushion. I was a bit concerned about how I would attach a full-sized wheelchair backpack (the user’s other wheelchair is a ridged full-size wheelchair), but the Quickie Adult Wheelchair Back Pack which holds lots of needed items slides fine over the closed ends of the push handle. I wish I could buy washable water-resistant cushion covers as the user has incontinence issues. Overall, glad I bought this upgraded transport chair.

This wheelchair is exactly what we were looking for. It is a perfect petite chair and can fit in any room including a bathroom. It is very smooth. Excellent quality. Perfect product.
