I had a hip replacement last week. I was given the basic walker when I left the hospital. It was lightweight, no wheels, flimsy. I had to lift it with each step. I couldn’t hold much on it w a bag because it was too light and could top over. This walker is amazing. It allows me to actually walk vs do a one step movement. The wheels are large and move in all directions making easier to handle. I have used it indoors and outdoors. On tile, wood, cement , rocks , grass and mud. It holds quite a bit also. And I don’t worry that it will fall over if I put something in the basket that may be a little heavy. Love the color. Easy to put together and easy to adjust. I am 50 and was in decent shape before my surgery. So the basic model was not too difficult but it was still hard to maneuver. This is night and day. If you are able to afford to get it do. I don’t know if Medicare and Medicaid will write this off. I definitely recommend it for older adults that may have difficulty with rehab. This will make it easier to recover quicker. There is also a seat. Because of my hip replacement I am unable to use the seat because it is a bit too low at this time. In any other case the seat would be great. It’s sturdy. This is a great walker for those that just need a walker for everyday life. Quality walker. We will be using this walker in the future I’m sure for other surgeries. It also comes with a small headlight for walking at night.

This is a super walker for those who need this assist for an extended time. I feel much safer using this walker as opposed to the one provided by Medicare. Rolls over lawns, and other uneven surfaces, with ease. Only downside is it may be a tad heavy for some.

I am a five feet tall elderly woman that needed a rollator walker to help me walk long distances, due to back pain. I used my late husband’s old walker for past six years until the wheels began to fall apart. Saw this beautiful rollator walker on Galenus Medical on Black Friday sale and bought it right away. That had been a big mistake because this thing is made for tall and big people only. I can’t even sit on it safely; my feet cannot touch the ground. I considered to return it, but I would need to take it apart and put it into a box for UPS to pick it up. There is no way I can do this because I don’t have enough strength or the original box it came in anymore. So, I will simply use it without using the seating function or just donate it to a tall person who needs a walker too. Lesson learned to be more careful next time when shopping online! 🙂

Just My Opinion –
This rollator walker is very heavy duty. It has large, grippy wheels and firm brakes.The set up took me about 20 minutes. No tools are necessary for set up. The instructions are clear and detailed.This also comes with a very bright LED 5 way light to illuminate your path, or you can use it as a caution or trouble light as well. The carry bag that attaches on the front is very large and has a shoulder strap and velcro’d carry handle to take your items with you.The unit folds up easily by lifting the strap on the seat. That releases the clips that hold the frame in place. This weighs about 25lbs so it is not as lightweight as the aluminum folding one you might have. This has adjustments on it to suit a very tall person. Also, the backrest comes up quite high, when you’re seated on it.I have some comparison pictures for size difference.As someone who occasionally has to use a walker, I feel that this unit is very solid and worth the money. Highly recommend.

I bought this because of wheel size and thinking it would be good for my gravel drive way and yard, But it did not work, It is a very good walker but not for off smooth ground.

I have been on a walker for 5 years and used 5 different walkers. This walker is the best one by far! The adjustable arms and higher seat are excellent for my 6”2’ height, as it allows me to stand straighter and feel more steady in my walking. It’s easy to use inside the house and the soft wheels are whisper quiet. The included accessories (cup holder and flash light) are excellent for moving within the house and at night. The larger wheels make outdoor use a breeze! The included light comes in handy with its 5 settings if you get caught outside after dark. The brakes on this walker are amazing and easy to use, unlike other products i’ve used. The collapsible feature and lock of the seat when folded are extremely handy when putting in a vehicle or at a restaurant when you want to get it out of the way. Lastly, the customer service is amazing and prompt when i reached out with questions. I cannot recommend this product enough!
Grandma Chaos –
I bought this for my husband who is having a toe removed. His balance is going to be impaired for awhile, maybe forever. He needs something that will help him feel more stable and prevent falls without being too much trouble to deal with. This is the perfect solution. It folds easily so it’s very easy to put in the car. It’s very durable, but lighter than I expected so it’s easy for me to handle. The larger tires make it easier to maneuver compared to the small, fixed wheels that are usually on a walker. I really appreciate that the front wheels also rotate around 360degrees. It makes it glide better without a lot of strength. The brakes are on the handles giving him a lot more control. I also like that the seat part has a backrest. It gives him a little place to rest a bit and I could push him around in it if I really needed to.

My husband recently had his right hip replaced and is waiting to have his left hip replaced. He was using one of the standard metal walkers to help get them around the house. He saw my dad’s rollAter and was impressed with how easy it was to use to get around. So I purchased this one for him for his birthday. I liked the bigger wheels on it so he can go out in the grass if he needs to. He is a big guy so he needed a bigger Rollator to help support his weight. He is very pleased with this Rollator.
