This scooter arrived well packed in a large heavy box. Much of the assembly time is just unpacking everything and getting the chassis out of the box. It comes mostly assembled leaving just a few things to put together.Assembly is pretty easy. The instructions are clear with good illustrations. A 5mm Allen wrench and 10mm open end wrench are included but they aren’t needed for the general assembly. The 5mm Allen wrench can be used to adjust the disc brakes if needed. I’m not sure what the 10mm wrench is for. So, you’re going to need some basic tools to get the scooter together. You’ll need a 19mm wrench or socket to attach the front wheels. There are two washers on the axle. Remove one washer, slide on the wheel (valve stem facing out), put the second washer back on then screw on the nut. The nut just needs to be snug. Just tight enough to keep the wheels from sliding back and forth on the axle. The nut is a nylon lock nut so it won’t come loose. Repeat for the second wheel. The steering column is locked down in the folded position. Lift the latch, raise the steering column then slide the d-pin through the hole and lock it in place. (This also rotates the front wheels into place) The handlebars can be raised, lowered and tilted to suit the rider. The led headlight needs a 3mm Allen wrench to install. The seat needs to be bolted to the seat frame using the 4 included bolts. You’ll need a 13mm wrench or socket. What the instructions fail to point out is that the bolts are not all the same length. The two longer ones go in the front while the two shorter bolts go on the rear. There are two seat height settings. This scooter comes with two batteries. Only one is used at a time.I like the overall design an quality. The frame is welded aluminum. It can handle up to 350 pounds of total weight. There’s two forward speed ranges and one reverse. The rear wheels each have a disc brake controlled by a single lever on the left side of the handlebars. The brakes can be locked on to keep the scooter from rolling away. The seat back folds down as does the steering column. The throttle and electronic controller is on the right side of the handlebars. The horn and headlight buttons are on the left. The batteries looks like large cordless drill batteries. It slides in and locks on in a similar fashion. The spare battery stores in a box under the seat.A long press on the power button turns on or off the controller. The function button cycles through the two forward speed ranges and reverse. Two cargo bags are included. One mounts on the handlebars while the other mounts under the seat. What it lacks that I think would be nice to have is a water bottle holder and reflectors or reflective tape for enhanced visibility in low light conditions.Overall I like this scooter.

The build quality of the product from use and assembly was quite decent. Pretty easy to install but not exactly straightforward. You do need to have your own tools like the proper sized crescent wrenches, or a ratchet with the right socket nut sizes to tighten the nuts and bolts during the assembly. A hex wrench and thin wrench are supplied but they don’t match the size of the actual nuts and bolts.Battery came precharged for use. Based on the LCD display, it appears to be 100% charged. Also had spare battery so you can easily swap batteries when one dies. The scooter even comes with a spare battery holder so that you can bring it along for use. The battery indicator on batteries themselves are bit misleading compared to the scooter’s LCD display. According to battery indicator, they may be 70-80% charged instead. So not sure which one is actually the correct one for battery level. Also surprising is the manual says to keep recharging and that such is better for the battery than discharging and then recharging.Scooter comes with 2 baskets, one by handlebar and other under seat. The under seat basket lid doesn’t close and secure properly via the velcro. The front basket has no lid, so not so good when used in the rain or windy conditions.

When we first received this mobility scooter, the box was visibly damaged and there was a large hole on one side torn into the box. We weren’t sure if parts were missing or if the scooter had been damaged. I opened the box and began putting the mobility scooter together while charging the two included batteries, which resemble power tool batteries. After checking the tires and inserting the charged batteries the next morning, we attempted to power up the scooter, but the digital control module would not turn on. This control module allows the rider to select SLOW, FAST or REVERSE and it was not lighting up. The power lever also did not work. Only the front headlamp and the horn worked. I reached out to the company and left an email explaining the problem and didn’t hear back for days. In the end, after a few weeks of back-and-forth between the company and myself, a warranty part (the control module) was shipped to me and arrived the following week. Before removing the old control moule and pulling the wires for it, then installing the new control module, I connected it directly to the battery box and, lo and heold, the mobility scooter was working beautfully, so I properly installed the new control module in place of the defective one that we received with the scooter. Once I was done, my wife took it for a trial run and she enoyed the heck out of it. This scooter has shock suspension, two drive speeds, plus reverse. It has a horn and front LED headlight, too. The seat is very comfy and the whole unit is suoer sturdy, capable of holding up to 350 lbs. Yesterday, while at Sam’s Club, I ran across another scooter by Super Handy and we both compared notes on our respective scooter models. This scooter’s handlebar is also adjustable, as well as the height of the seat. The whole thing can be folded down for stowing or moving about by hand once the seat is removed. It even fit into the back seat of my wife’s car, as well as in the trunk (except for the seat which was folded and stored in the back seat area. The tires on this mobility scooter can handle mosts off-road surface, as well as paved areas. The seat is very comfortable. According to the product information we received, this mobility scooter can drive up to 10 miles with both batteries installed.
