While my autistic grandson visited I was learned how much he loved to cuddle. My daughter felt this would be practical for him. When it arrived she covered it with his favorite blanket and he’s been comfortable for 2 days. Well worth it!!!

I can’t say enough good things about this “boat” (as my kids have named it). Two main reasons I love it so much: the calming effect & the durability.Calming: my neurospicy 3yo is really drawn to the deep pressure of squeezing in to small spaces, especially when feeling overwhelmed. When snuggly blankets are added to this “boat”, calming & self-regulation take place almost immediately. It’s incredible to watch happen.Durability: when not being used as a place for a full-body hug, this “boat” has inspired LOTS of active play and is shockingly durable. It’s been a boat to rock in & tumble out of, it’s been flipped over to be ridden as a surfboard & jumped off of, it’s been double-bounced like a trampoline with siblings & friends— and during moments I was certain it was going to pop, it hung in there no problem!Don’t sleep on this. It’s worth every penny.
