My husband searched for quite some time before we purchased this chair. #1 it had to be light enough and easy enough for me to be able to lift it and get it in and out of the car for him. I’m 72 years old, and I am able to do that. #2 it needed to have a good battery, and having the gage on it so you can see the battery level makes that perfect. At first, he kind of wanted to be able to lift one arm up to make it easier to get in and out from some situations, and he found he could remove one screw to be able to do that, but it made folding it and putting it in the car a lot more awkward (as it flopped around) and we ended up putting the screw back in and he really doesn’t have any problem with it. If possible, his only thought was he wished it were about 3-4 inches higher, because he can stand long enough to turn and drop into a seat and this model is a lot lower to the ground, making sitting down a little harder and getting up even more difficult-but we realize making it higher/taller would also add more weight and make it harder to get into the car/hatch. Before this purchase, he had a Rollator type chair with no motor and I had to push him, so we find this much better, along with being light enough for me to lift. A very good purchase for us.

Like it being light weight for sure.

Extremely easy to assemble, comfortable and smoothly goes through grass or dirt or concrete. Only thing to note is the seat is small in case you are a larger person. Average height and weight are fine

For the chair alone I would have given 5 stars except for my very first trial run, the battery died after 3 blocks. I have great difficulty walking and I had to push the chair the 3 blocks back home. I suffered greatly having to do this. I’m hoping the manufacturer sends me a new battery without much hassle.

We got this for my 94 year old mom and at first it was a little scary for her but we worked with and now she uses it a lot more easily. She still mostly uses her walker but having the chair makes it possible for her to go places that might have seemed like too much trouble before. It is amazingly maneuverable and the ability to transport it is a huge plus. Also it folds up so it doesn’t take up to much space in her apartment. The folks at Rubicon were really helpful (getting us a new battery when it arrived with a dead one and giving us pointers over the phone on how to operate it). She’s only had it about 2 months so we really can’t speak to battery life but with everything else we’ve been impressed.

So far best value I could find. Talked to company and told them I was on vacation and my other wheel chair broke, parts were unavailable for a month and a half – ordered and received my chair the next day. This company has all parts in stock. My husband had no trouble assembling it and I was up and going within half an hour. Everything worked well, turning radius was OK, speed is alright on straight away – only downside is the place I am staying has large inverted speed bumps and the chair has problems if you don’t take the dip at the exact angle it likes. I would buy again.

Unit is underpowered. Stalls when small wheels tryTo reverse. Difficult to make tight turns. Not suitableIn small indoor spaces
