I purchased a foldable electric wheelchair about two years ago and I couldn’t be more satisfied with both the product and the customer service.First, the quality of the wheelchair is exceptional. It is constructed from durable materials that feel sturdy yet lightweight. The foldable design is incredibly convenient, allowing me to store it in the trunk of my car without any hassle. The battery life is impressive, providing hours of use on a single charge, and the chair operates smoothly on various terrains, including grass and gravel. My mother has been able to enjoy it very much and not miss out on outdoor family events. What truly sets this product apart, though, is the outstanding customer service. From my initial inquiry to post-purchase support, the company has been responsive, friendly, and incredibly helpful. They provided thorough answers to my questions. The delivery was prompt, and the wheelchair arrived well-packaged and in perfect condition. Additionally, they followed up after the purchase to ensure everything was to my satisfaction and offered continued support if needed.Overall, this foldable electric wheelchair has exceeded my expectations in terms of quality and functionality. Coupled with top-notch customer service, it has been a fantastic investment. I highly recommend this product to anyone in need of a reliable, comfortable, and convenient mobility solution.

I was hesitant to buy an electric wheelchair without first trying it out, but this was an excellent buy! I couldn’t be happier with it. I am a very large person. This chair fits me well, is easy to maneuver, and has incredible battery longevity. My husband is thrilled with how easy it folds up and how easily he can put it in the car. There are some good grip points. He only has to lift either the front or back wheels into the back of the car, and it slides in. Its relatively light weight at 50 pounds, but is sturdy and handles my weight easily. The batteries last a long time. I do not use this chair 24/7, but rather just for when I would need to walk any distance. I have COPD, so walking and breathing became quite difficult. We purchased two carabiners to hang from the back railing of the chair to clip my portable oxygen unit on it. I also bungee corded a sham pillow for extra back support. All in all, this was an excellent buy and I would purchase it again.

PROS●This chair is all terrain which is nice. ●Big tires on the back. Makes for easier travel on gravel and rough spots. Does not spin out on wet grass too often.●The power of the chair is super. Would not recommend for a very senior person. I have been wheelchair bound for 8 years, and handle a chair well. I power the chair on only 1 or 2 in the house. It goes to 5. I would only increase the speed if out doors on a sidewalk or street.●The 2 batteries are very easy to remove. They were very welcomed on the airplane. They are only 4 lbs each.● Bag under the chair is very handy.● Chair can be switched from power, to manual push, with a flip of a button very easily.● Solidly constructed● I use the seat belt to wrap around the handles so it stays securely closed when folded.● Folds to a convenient size. Compact.● Easy to fold and unfold● Can roll like luggage when folded upComes with a cover. Fully assembled when it arrivedCons■ The chair is heavier than I thought. It is truly 58 lbs. , which is difficult for 1 to lift. With 2 it is better. Even removing the batteries it is 50 lbs. Thought it would be easy for me to lift from the folded position, acrossed my lap, to the passenger seat. It’s not. I struggle with the lift independently since I have to be seated. My son struggles from the ground, to the back of his suv. He has a bad back.■ May be difficult for an older person to put in trunk.■ I was afraid if I got a lighter chair, it might tip over easily. Additionally, I needed the all terrain traveling tires.■ Side note: when flying with it. You do not have to pay to check it. They will however, check tag it, and it goes in cargo below. The batteries can be placed with staff in the plane closet, or go in cargo bin. You will need to make arrangements with airlines accessibility dept. It takes some prep when traveling in a wheelchair.■ Foot peddle could be a bit bigger.■ Joy stick is very sensitive.■ Fenders over wheels sometimes rub thru doors. Go very slowly.■ Seat could be thicker, but is comfortable. I put a trash bag over it to keep it clean and dry. I have another cushion on top of the cushion.■■■ The batteries are not readily available yet on Galenus Medical. As such…replacement is high. At Porto Mobility they are $369-$389 each and there are 2. Battery listed for 5 years to last.■ I am only 5″ so the chair is tall for me. I feel like I am really elevated. Have to have a grabber if I drop something.I am happy with this chair. It is a great traveling chair. I am going to have to purchase a truck with a wheelchair lift hoist installed in the back. Not sure I can afford a handicapped van with a ramp. If it is trailored, someone has to drive it up the ramp and bungy it down.Oh….and start saving for batteries. It does what I need it to do in shopping and traveling. Wish it was easier to lift, but it is definitely lighter than most on the market. Impressed with construction. Portability provides good customer service out of California, also. I researched 6 months before making a costly purchase. It would be 5 stars if I could lift easier. Not faulting them. Just my experience in lifting.

Bought for my mom, and two months later we’ve finally had a chance to take it out. She is absolutely over the moon! Thoughtful controls, comfortable seating. The seat back is a bit reclined (non-adjustable) for her taste, but a cushion will take care of that.My biggest concern was whether or not I’d need to have my car modified to carry a chair. No! This folds up quickly and fits in the back of my Prius without even needing to put the back seats down. It’s amazingly light for a powered wheelchair. Be aware, however, that this is compared to other powered chairs, which must be heavy beyond measure. You’ll feel all 50 pounds heaving it into the car, but it’s absolutely doable. I’m old and in terrible shape, but I can comfortably lift it to get it loaded. I wouldn’t try to carry it up stairs. Or very far. It’s still heavy, but it’s manageable. It’s been a joy to watch her win back some autonomy. It’s also a joy realizing that both my hands are now free and I can wander around without leaving her stranded.I would recommend picking up the extended footrest (~$130) from their site. Those front wheels bump your feet if they extend over the sides of the rest. There’s exactly enough clearance for the wheels to get past the footrest. Anything more gets bumped.

Tl: Dr – 10/10 would buy againI am a plus size woman with a degenerative skeletal condition. Although I can use a cane for the most part now, there will be a time when I am wheelchair-bound. I wanted this to use primarily whenever I go to big box stores (Sam’s, Target, Walmart, Lowe’s, etc.) where the electric carts are often either in use, dead, or broken, or to use while traveling. Since I had a trip coming up and I have the available funds, I went ahead and bought it.I have used this chair extensively since receiving it, not quite three months ago – including a twelve day, three city vacation. My assessment is below.Pros:The chair comes almost completely assembled. (You do need to add the joystick and storage pouch underneath.) The batteries do already have a charge. You can literally use this chair within minutes of unboxing. The learning curve is slight. Some have complained about it being “jerky” when starting. Put the speed setting on three or less and it’ll fix that for you.It is truly multi-terrain. That said, it will not operate well in sand or on loose gravel. It does work on packed gravel. I was able to maneuver easily even in historic districts of several towns, and on rather steep inclines. When folded it is not much larger than a deluxe baby stroller, and only slightly heavier. Removing the batteries before lifting it will help here. The five speed settings are amazing. The batteries hold a charge extremely well. I did not have to charge my batteries the entire 12 days I was on vacation, even with daily use.It is very easy to clean. The seat cushion is very comfortable. It is fairly quiet.Customer service is top notch if you have an issue. (See below.)It looks awesome!Cons:I would have loved to have seen some type of hooking device or strap to help keep the frame closed when trying to load it. Sort of what strollers have.It is difficult to use a shopping cart or other basket system to hold items if shopping. (But you’d have that with pretty much any wheelchair.) Would really love to see some sort of basket accessory that could attach to the arm not utilizing the joystick. A friend made me some bags that hook over the arms which helps for small items. I’m not a fan of the back pouch thing, although it is useful for storing a poncho (get one big enough for the entire chair). It’s just not very accessible if you are traveling alone. It reclines more than I like, but that’s a personal preference. I purchased a lumbar seat cushion which solved the issue for me.I will say this: I did have an issue where the top part of the battery that shows the charge level came off and the battery was stuck inside the frame. I contacted customer service and they were kind, respectful, quick, and responsive (thank you Al!). They had a technician to my home in a few days to fix the issue. Inconvenient? Yeah, for a few days. But the communication was clear and frequent, and I was never left guessing. I was treated the way I would’ve wanted my mother treated if this was an issue for her.Tips: if you are inclined to leave the wheelchair in your vehicle, bring in the batteries and joystick. Neither like extreme temperatures and any type of batteries can combust if they get too hot.Slide the batteries in gently. When folded it can be tempting to drop the battery into the frame with a “thunk,” but that will put strain on the plastic cap that provides your battery level reading.Get a poncho that covers you AND the chair. Random thunderstorms and electronics don’t mix well.Enjoy your new freedom. 😊
