Initially had problem getting it to work then our son found a second power switch under neath the joy stick as well as the one on the top. Now works great although the joy stick is very sensitive I suggest that you take a moment to practice with the joy stick. My husband is very happy with the chair and it is light enough that I can lift it to place it in the back of our SUV. Due to poor handling by amazon the charger was badly cracked. However, the seller went out of his way to make this right.

This item came on time, was easy to complete assembly and seems to work very well. The instructions to complete assembly were clear and easy to follow. The chair is easy to use.

I received it today, but it came with these imperfections and loose from somewhere. I’m going to try it, but I’m not very convinced. (11/20/24 update two weeks after using the chair I amnotticing that it is very weak 😥 for my father and the engine strength is not the same as the one I had at the beginning I will try it for a few more weeks and if I do not finish convincing it I will return it.TERRIBLE PRODUCT UPDATED If you want to use it in manual mode it locks I’m going to return it not work well.Update Product returned poor quality and a few months later my friend found it on Temu for less than half the cost here on Galenus Medical but I don’t buy it again or recommend it.

The chair cannot handle grass, small bumps, or the incline of a ramp (24-28 inches) on a single step (6-8 inches high), and it’s very unstable (I was on a pathway with a small slope to the right, I tried driving forward and to the left but the chair continued to the right).It also struggles with small movements. If you try to inch your way forward by placing a small amount of pressure onto the joystick, it moves in a jerking motion.
