  • UNLIKE EVERYTHING ELSE: Other machines only work the fronts and backs of your lower body which means you must crank up the resistance to feel the impact. Scoop is different: our tension knobs controls your tempo, but because you are using all of the muscles of your lower body at once, dont need high resistance. This means the workout feels easier but can strengthen muscles than bikes, treadmills or other mini pedalers completely ignore.
  • The Scoop Lateral Trainer works all the muscles other mini pedal exercisers work PLUS the muscles on the side of your legs and thighs for 360 degree lower body workout. Don’t work half of your lower body, work it all with a Scoop Lateral Trainer.
  • LOWER YOUR FALL RISK: The Scoop tones the entire lower body 360 and even works your core muscles. Unlike walking or biking, strengthening your lateral muscles can quickly improve your balance, reducing fall and injury risk. It’s perfect for those who want to stay fit and active as they age.
  • BUILD STRONGER KNEES & HIPS: Scoop is zero impact and clinically shown to improve knee health by safely strengthening supportive muscles that other machines ignore. Safe for most with arthritis or joint issues.
  • SIMPLE, LIGHTWEIGHT & PORTABLE: At under 20 pounds, the Scoop is lightweight and portable. It fits into even the smallest space, and can be easily transported to your office. Tone up and burn calories while you work at your desk.
  • MULTIDIRECTIONAL: The Scoop lets you customize your workout: instantly change your pedal direction to change your workout focus from inner thighs and glutes to outer thighs and glutes.
  • This product has a user weight limit of 250lbs/114kg. Users wearing EXTRA WIDE 2E or greater Women’s 10.5 Men’s size 9 or greater will have to use the Scoop without shoes or request a free upgrade to wider width pedals. If it is difficult to pedal in one direction or another, please contact Scoop Lateral Trainer for professional assistance.

This is a nice addition for your exercise routine. It was a great value at 99.99. It had been 250-300 previously. It’s very easy to use. Follow the assembly directions and you will be ‘scooping’ in no time!

I think this will help and is a relatively compact piece of exercise equipment. However, it needs a handle! I do not have the space to leave it set up permanently, I need to store it away. The only solid place to grasp it is the heavy stabilizer bars on the bottom. This makes it very awkward to move and could be challenging for some people. I hope the manufacturers include a sturdy handle to move it around for future versions.

This review is based on the Scoop as a type of Physical Therapy device as opposed to the possibilities it possess as an actual workout.A little over 6 years ago I tripped. I did not fall but somehow managed to just throw myself out of whack and have had near constant pain from my lower back to my toes and symptoms of a myriad of possible problems:Sacroiliac joint dysfunctionPiriformis SyndromeIT Band ProblemsShin SplintsPlantar FasciitisTight PsoasTFL muscle tightness (tensor fascia latae)Obviously something was out of whack and the other parts of my body trying to compensate also became damaged. In the course of the 6+ years that have followed I have purchased a myriad of products to alleviate my pain. No previous purchase has given me more hope for an end to my pain than The Scoop (and a lot of reviews on their site echo that). On top of the ever present pain over the last year I have developed an awful stiffness because I sit so much because of my constant pain. Getting out of chair became a painful chore: my painful knees, the unbearable stiffness that would cause me to limp.I’m not looking to get my heart rate going or get any kind of aerobic benefit from this device, I’m looking to not essentially be disabled and move like someone 30 years my senior and as as the title of my review states: “So Far, So Great”I think my hips and glutes contributed to the bulk of my issues and darned if using this machine has not helped immensely in only a few days. I have not sat and used it for the 20+ minutes recommended I have just it frequently (5-6x) for a few minutes over the course of these past few days and the difference is already startling.Knee pain upon standing reduced 80%Stiffness reduced about the same.Hip + IT Band pain almost completely gone.If the results I’ve seen so far can be maintained this will be the best $180 I ever spent.UPDATE: 1+ month in.Still enjoying my Scoop – use it about 12 minutes 2x a day. Pleasantly surprised by the firming occurring in my legs. For those complaining the item is scooting away from them – the pedals are there to guide you, you shouldn’t really be putting a lot of heavy pressure on them. You really are just making lateral circles with your legs. Don’t give up: I was a little too herky jerky with it when I initially tried it.
