Good quality build in an area of emerging neuroscience. It’s operates like a TENS unit. I don’t have an opinion about it “montages“ & I don’t know where the science is heading, but it seems to help me headaches.

I’ve tried other tDCS units in the past with mixed results, mainly due to design flaws. This unit, however, is a true game changer! It is simply a great design with an excellent straightforward user interface. The electrode design is simple and effective, the best that I have seen on the market at this price point. I wasn’t familiar with tACS prior to purchasing the NeuroMyst Pro, now I’m thrilled that it features BOTH options! Now I am a huge tACS fan and can see myself using it on a daily basis! As for using the unit, I find the built-in presets very useful and make it simple to use. Having the ability to customize your own experiences takes it to the next level. The NeuroMyst Pro was clearly designed with beginning and advanced users in mind. Safety is a concern of mine and knowing that NueroMyst Pro is made in the USA, combined with responsive customer support and a great website, make it a no-brainer! Like all of my Galenus Medical purchases, I read reviews prior to purchasing. I noticed the multiple mentions about the excellent customer service and I took the plunge. No regrets here, it was a solid purchase. NeuroMyst is a company that is going places: great design plus great customer support/service plus great value = success. If you are on the fence about taking the leap, go for it, you’ll be glad you did. I’m considering a second unit to keep at the office and have as a backup!

I was very reluctant to try this product because I had no professional guidance, and I am not good at conducting science experiments on myself. I found the company’s instructional videos cold because they did not include any live human beings. So I felt alone with this and almost didn’t try it.But then I reached out to NeuroMyst and discovered that they are very nice, well-meaning humans who are just getting started with all of their user materials and fully intend to make them more user-friendly. Getting that human connection encouraged me to give NeuroMyst a try. This is still basically a DIY product. NeuroMyst has to be very careful not to offer medical advice for obvious legal reasons. And there does not yet seem to be a network of professionals to turn to for guidance with tDCS. But the company did refer me to a subreddit of very active users. The product comes with pre-set protocols. Being cautious, I simply tried the first one, “Smile/Zen.” Sounds good, right? Well, it worked! Before starting it, I had a bad case of December blues. Within one week of daily “Smile/Zen” sessions I found myself completely undepressed. It could not be easier to use this nifty little device. I do the 20-minute protocol every day while eating my breakfast and playing the NYTImes Spelling Bee. Most of the time I don’t feel a thing; once in a while there’s a little tingling. But it never hurts. I even walk around in the middle of a session with the device in my pocket. The device itself has worked flawlessly for me. It lasts a long time on a charge, and the user interface is super intuitive. I just push three buttons to get up and running lickety split.SO much more convenient than TMS (transcranial magnetic stimulation) treatment and much more effective – and cost-effective – than a home neurofeedback machine. Well worth the investment!
