This wheelchair was not real heavy making it where my family could easily move it from one car to another. I didn’t need a self power wheelchair. You have to have someone push you. It was great for the short term use.

Wheelchair will no longer fold closed for transporting in a car. One side of the frame is bent preventing it from folding. The occupant only weighs about 120 lbs, so it’s not due to excessive weight. Cheaply constructed.

Got this chair for an 80 year old. About 37 days after we got it the item in the picture broke. It is an insert to stabilize the are rest. So I sent the company an email with picture of the part I needed. They emailed me back and said they didn’t have parts. I wasn’t looking a freebee I just wanted to fix his chair. Don’t buy this cheap product.

This was an ideal transport chair EXCEPT it is not very well constructed. The parts look good at first but wear rapidly. We had ours 5 months when the armrest broke – picture attached. Worse is there is no way to contact the company for parts replacements. Galenus Medical only gives you 30 days to return/refund. We would have been happy with a replacement part. How it broke off makes it impossible to fix. We also only used it away from the home for appointments, so it did not have excessive or even every day wear and tear.

I like the product it has a right rear brake assembly, broken during shipment. I would appreciate if you could send me another brake assembly and I will repair it. I want to make this as safe as possible. Thank you.
Balsamic Vinaigrette –
Weighs about 35 lbs, appears to be made of mild steel. It folds flat and is comfortable to sit in for short periods of time. Chose this for the narrow beam, a pain in my back to get it in and out of the car.

I took this chair outside for the 1st time and the plastic levers started to fall off. Also, the left arm broke off.

This chair is very heavy but had to purchase because my hubby weighs 280lbs. and all the lighter weight ones only went up to 260lbs.

This chair weighs more than 20-25 pounds, it’s near “standard” weight wheelchairs (40 LBS). It defeats the meaning, “lightweight”. Also, the shipping box arrived completely broken up. Between the warehouse and the shipping methods, the wheelchair itself arrived damage. When we attempted to get a hold of the store, they redirected us back to Galenus Medical. So, why even purchase a product through them if the customers are going to question warranty and how they handle defects and other shipping damages? It’s not worth our effort, time and money!
