Veronica B –
Arrived fast, great; because my other walker broke. I previously bought a more expensive blue walker that creaked horribly from the start, had to put ankle weights on it, because it was so flimsy, it eventually broke, a wheel fell off, so dangerous. So I had to buy another one. I had accidentally ordered this walker thinking it was for adults based on the picture which must be a teen and not an adult. I thought I would have to return it, since I wanted an adult walker. Well, I am short ( 5’2 ) so it actually worked perfect for me (I am in my fifties). I was impressed by the sturdiness and great quality of the walker for the price. There are no creaking noises like my past walker, this one is well made. I would recommend this walker for short adults, teens, and children. It feels safe for walking. I broke the middle of my back, broke my right leg, and broke my right arm in a bad fall then my leg surgery failed so I had to have a total hip replacement. So this walker helped to transition me out of the wheel chair when I finally was able to walk again. The arm rests are perfect for people who can’t put weight on a leg or hip after a surgery. I think this would be also perfect for a shorter elderly person who needs help walking and needs to rest their arms. I go to Physical Therapy with this new walker and my PT loves this one and thinks it has helped me to learn to walk again. Easy to assemble and adjust for height. Thanks Medline.

I’m 5’2″ and in my 60’s. I had an old platform walker from about 2001 but it’s foam is gone. ( I have bad shoulders and foot surgery then.)I have killed my L knee now and I could not find replacement foam and the Drive attachments only left me 11 inches to stand between after following the instructions and no use at all. Now I’ve gotten an elbow and shoulder replacements in latter 2000’s and I needed a quick replacement platform walker. This is a great height, comfortable, and keeps my weight off my leg and my upper joints at the same time. ( My shoulders were in my ears almost with a regular walker. This walker squeaks and rattles and I keep apologizing for all the noise and tell people it’s the noisest walker ever made. The sliders that came WITH IT…are too small and I had to wrap tape around the insertions to keep them in. More people have come up to me asking about it and I try and educate them on how these can help. Not enough people know about them. I asked the ER Dr for a script but even she had no idea what it was, so wouldn’t order it. I hope Medicare will reimburse me now that I have a script from ortho. No DME place carried these except 1 who charged twice this price but wouldn’t bill Medicare. If anyone has an idea how to quiet the thing, please reply! I don’t think WD 40 will help.
