I really wanted to like this soccer, i had it for two years and now it’s broken. One side the legs will not collapse and it is heavy. So be careful as well with the brakes because they do not work very well either. It was great while it lasted and it was very comfortable but unfortunately I’m now having to buy a new one I would not recommend this item if you have issues lifting heavy items over let’s say 15 lb because this thing is a beast.

Thru the years I noticed my mom not being as stable when she walked. Constantly needing to touch things as she walked to help her maintain her balance. Sadly it took her to be diagnosed with S4 pancreatic cancer for her to accept any a little bit of help. But when she got it, she loved it. It was sturdy. She didn’t have to worry about trying to keep up with others to help her. She could stroll at her own pace and when she got tired, stop and sit a moment. As she went in and out of the cancer center people would stop to say how nice her ‘ride’ was. Sadly she only got to use it less than 1 month before she died. But the time she had it, she loved it. It was super easy to put together. No tools required.

When I got the walker I followed the instructions. Accordingly the front wheels went to the back and the back wheels went to the front.Good thing I had the old walker to compare, just to make sure the height is exactly like the other.I knew something wasn’t quite right when the front is higher than the back, so the seat is tilted toward the back.So upon examining the old walker I noticed the wheels are placed opposite of what the instruction had indicated. So after switching them now the walker is balanced, the seat is now even and not tilted. The other problem we had was the brakes are so tight that the wheels were not able to move.I couldn’t figure out how to loosen the brakes.Good thing my son’s girl friend came in and found out how to loosen the tension for me and we were able to get the wheels to move.Another problem was one of the handle was missing the locking mechanism. Good thing the cat was playing inside the box and was playing with it so my son’s girl friend saw it and was able to solve that problem.I’m glad we were able to solve the different problems and got this walker put together. I would hate to have to send it back because the handle couldn’t lock.I hope my mother enjoys this walker. For some reason when I sat on the cushion it didn’t feel as comfortable as the old walker. It was kind of stiff, but maybe it just need to be broken in a bit. Hope my mother don’t complain about this..I like the fact that it has larger wheels since that will help moving better and the seat lifts up so she doesn’t have to lean to get to the sink. And the larger bag under the seat so she can carry her blanket with her to cover her legs when she gets cold.Over all it’s an upgrade from the old walker and it should serve her for at least 5 years if not more. The old walker lasted 6 years.

I received this Wheeled Walker on February 8th, 2022. I bought it directly from Galenus Medical. The handles are very shaky and wobble every direction. I have been using a walker for three years, due to a genetic progressive illness similar to ALS and Muscular Distrophy. My Physical Therapist told me not to use it; and to return it. That it would be dangerous for balance and could easily cause me to fall. Although, I have been making almost all purchases except food through Galenus Medical, and most directly from Galenus Medical, as I did with this walker. I have had to at times return an item. But the website is not accepting a return. It isn’t being looked at by a human being. And as I have rewritten my reason for return dozens of times; as I push the message to Galenus Medicals server, it instantly bounces back that “This item doesn’t qualify for return.” When upon reviewing the again what qualify s for return. Every time I reread all of the return policy; it certainly does qualify for return! My budget to buy a new walker that had bigger wheels and good breaks; which I desperately need, is tied up with this purchase. I need it to be replaced or a refund of my over $200.00. So that I can find another walker that isn’t defective and not dangerous, as my Physical Therapist and my MD, who was here to see me yesterday agreed with the Therapist. And instructed me not to use it and get a new safe one immediately as I live alone. And only have a helper for 5 hours 5 days per week at this point. So, at this point I am very frustrated with this situation which needs resolution by Galenus Medical. But I am unable to get in contact with a human being to hear my reason and make a decision to allow a return. It seems to me that there is a glitch on my Prime account that is causing this. I have also received emails from Galenus Medical Membership that my account is closed while it is certainly in full operation, accepting and delivering other orders.
