I researched so many bedside toilets for my husband who is recovering from radiation therapy for a cancerous brain tumor and is unable to walk to our bathroom. My husband is 5’10 and weighs 230 lbs. This bedside chair was so easy to put together it took my daughter about 20 mins. to do so. It’s large and very sturdy. It’s easy to clean and he hasn’t had one single accident, nor has there been any kind of leaks. This is due to the great design of a largely oval shaped open area on the seat that allows all his private parts to fit with ease. It definitely meets his needs. I really like the fact that this bedside chair is versatile and looks exactly like a piece of furniture. He can sit in it and read or watch TV. And for a more comfortable sitting position. I placed a seat cushion on the seat cover and I draped a throw blanket on the back rest. I am extremely happy with my purchase and my recommendation to anyone looking for a not good, but a great bedside toilet to purchase this is the one. Without a doubt, if I were to ever be in need of another bedside chair, I would absolutely reorder this one..

We like this product for its quality, appearance and utility. It was not hard to assemble and is very well made. The ease of use is good. We like the oval seat instead of a circular one. It helps to prevent further accidents.The waste disposal is very efficient. The cover seals well until it can be emptied. We would recommend spending a little more for this because of its overall quality and ease of use. Plus it is not as unsightly as others are.
