  1. Customer Review

Walker – Premium, Lightweight Adjustable Upright Rollator Walker with Seat for Adults, Seniors & The ElderlySo this rollator has many amazing features. It folds VERY small, comes with bag to hold it (as they all should but NONE do other this this one).A few things things that make it less than:1. Brake wire management – needs work. This is a safety issues as it can EASILY snag on things on the way anywhere. Easy to fix… but here were are.2. Back wheels fold up but the red clip things that one uses to do so are very poorly designed and, it is easy to remember how it works. Easy to fix, yet, here we are.Has 8-in wheels that listing claims are multi-terrain.. They are not. They are pavement wheels and lack any type of off-pavement thread. It will ride over grass but shouldn’t be used in sandy or gravely type places without trying it out with someone else first to see how it reacts. (I have not – no opportunity as yet). The tires are softer rubbery but not really cushioned tires as come with some. That kind of tire makes for a better ride in my experience with many rollators and transport chairs.Has rear foot plates to enable to tilt the rollator back to go up curbs, over thresholds, etc. It lacks the thumb lift things on the top handles which would help and are seen in best-of-class rollators. This rollator colds in 1/2 from left and right. It remains stable and rolls enabling the user to fit through tight places or to fold up next to a table at a restaurant. The front wheels don’t do anything odd as in some of these. The Brakes still work and the rollator rolls fine and is still table – it will stand on its own.The front storage bag is clips nicely onto the extending supports but those could be smooth to make it EASIER. It won’t be going anywhere to need all those groves that make it hard to put on and take off. The bag itself is HUGE (bigger than the one now in the pics. It lacks a shoulder strap, center handle (nylon ribbing bands around the center to the handle on each side. It does have a double zipper opening up the inside for easier retrieval. Side and/or front pockets would help.It has a can holder (bottom cup and top Velcro). The back support is easily removed leaving the brackets there. It also has loop brake handles to prevent hands from slipping out. The handles themselves are nice rubber/silicone and wide to fit nicely in average or small hands for sure. The seat has no padding at all. this is not normal and a negative. Every other rollator I’ve seen has a padded seat even one has a Velcro pad to attach to an already padded seat (lots more than this one). So – if you get this one, be ready for this issue. The bag supplied for air travel is sufficient but could really use work. If one is going to be supplied, make it one that can be useful. It lacks a shoulder strap with a padded shoulder pad. It has no loops on each end enabling one to be added later. There are no loops for a luggage tag other than the handles. The zipper is very light weight. The bag is lightweight materials but it appears to be coated inside. Ideally, a padded bag would protect the rollator. This folds up pretty small and will fit into the front bag. This rollator folds so small, it would fit nicely into a hard shell or soft shell suitcase. Airlines do not charge for checking a medical device such as a rollator, walker, etc.The unit weighs just 18.5 pounds which is on the lighter side for rollators. This is made in Taiwan not PRC.I wish they would fix some of the little things I noted.. These become issues on daily use. But I do highly recommend this rollator.

Journey UPWalker Breeze ( Product Code 08973RED)Since the item page has good photos, and it has a good description of this product, I will not bother adding pictures or more of a description. The walker seems to be a well-built and engineered walker except for the packing into the box. The original unit I received, the plastic pieces that held the bag was broken, so I had to request a return / replacement of the walker. The walker was pretty simple to assemble. All 4 wheels were collapsed in the box. You just unfold the seat, and the 4 wheels into position, and the basics of the walker done. The only thing you then have to do is attach and adjust the seat back position, hang the bag, slide the handles into place, and adjust the heigh of the handles. The walker collapses pretty simple (just pull up on the seat). When you collapse the walker, there isn’t a leaver to keep it locked into place from unfolding, but didn’t seem to be an issue. Depending on the wheel position, and surface it can stand on its own. When you open the seat from collapsing, it takes some effort to lock it into place when pushing down on the seat, but not too bad. If you want to store it somewhere long term, or store it into the car, you can collapse the walker by folding the wheels back to make it even smaller. As far as the Seat comfort, there is no cushion, you are basically sitting like on a canvas lawn chair. Depending on your personal build, you might be comfortable, or you might not be.In reference to my comment about “your personal build”, it depends how wide, tall, and your weight you will be able to use this device. Please notice the measurement specifications on the web page and noted below.Measurement specifications (based on MY approximate measurements)Seat Depth 9.8″Seat width 16″ seat itself or 18″ sitting on the bars of the seat supportSeat height is 20.75″The hip room is almost 19”The backrest is cushioned, and is directly attached to the handle support. But the height is adjustable. As far as the wheels are concerned, the front and rear wheels are 8″. The issue with the wheels is that they have some tread, but it is sort of harder rubber/foamish. If you are using the walker over smooth surface like tile, etc, the brakes work (wheels don’t turn), but the walker will keep moving since the wheels do not grip to my tile floor. The brakes seem to work well, you can squeeze the handle to apply the brakes, or you can push down to lock the walker so you can turn around and sit on the walker seat.To make this Almost perfect walker is if the seat had some padding.
