Well made sturdy chair. Easy to fold and transport, easy to maneuver. Quickly converts to manual and easy to push. Easy to charge. Haven’t found a downside to this chair yet 😀

A little heavier than conventional wheelchair, but much more convenient. Folds easily and compact. Works great indoors and does a good job outdoors. My wife has used it in grass and hard packed gravel. Suspension smooths the ride over cobblestone pavers.

The Chair looks nice but the one I received has what I consider a safety defect in that the electro-mechanical brake is actuated before chair has come to a full stop (My understanding and experience with another model chair is that it is supposed to have approximately a one second delay before actuation). This problem caused an abrupt stop with back and forth jerking every time the joystick was returned to the center position. In my opinion, the jerking was hard enough to potentially throw a severely disabled or frail person from the chair, and would aggravate the situation for a person with severe back problems. Pride Mobility quality control stated this was normal behavior with the Jazzy Carbon. Therefore because my wife has a severe back problem I had to return the chair. The dealer H V Supply handled the return and refund promptly and professionally.

Great lightweight easy to operate folding power wheelchair with only one complaint. That is that when you are slow or stop and start to go around new corners etc. it is very jerky and uncomfortable. My other wheelchair was very smooth start and stop but was more expensive. I bought this one because it won’t break my new floating floors with how heavy it is and I can’t operate a manual chair. Have not had an issue with battery running out. Electrician says barely takes any energy to charge. I bought an additional cushion for it at pharmacy medical supply store and recommend that for sitting longer periods. The arms do sit a little high so I wouldn’t use those to rest arms on. It has storage underneath though it’s hard to reach when disabled and storage in back that is flat shaped. You can attach cup holder easily if need. Love that you can easily with foot or hand adjust in back to make it push manually (harder to push than regular manual chair because of power/weight) or to power chair. Love this for someone who is partial wheelchair user or needs assistance from caregiver sometimes, either way it’s a great option to be able to push or power and the main reason I purchased it other than it’s lightweight. Just wish there was a way to make the start and stop more smooth and les jerky and it would be five stars. Still I recommend. Going to see how it does on a plane ride soon enough.

Very easy to open and close. Simple to operate. Quality engineering on how it was designed. Very adjustable. It’s not cheap, but the quality is worth the price.

I have a simular carbon fiber electric wheelchair. That is why I purchased this one they are identical on features and use the same lithium ion battery. The first wheelchair still works great and the new is a back up just in case. I depend on it to get around. It gives me freedom. Would recomend it to those who have use for it. Very easy to use, plenty of power, great manuverability and comfortable. I can load it into my SUV or F150 because it is about 40lbs with extra accessories as a bag for glssses phone and care items. Oh don’t forget the cup holder.

I needed a power chair to help me get around after my mobility had declined due to having MS. This chair is a beautifully designed and manufactured chair made mostly of carbon fiber (which is not typical of inexpensive chairs- they are typically made of aluminum or steel). Thus, the Jazzy Carbon is one of the lightest portable, folding powered chairs on the market and it gets the job done.Pros: lightweight, folds down flat to easily be stored in a vehicle trunk or SUV tail, nice electronic control, battery life is good (but not great), shocks above front wheels help to lessen the jolts when crossing bumps, good speed options from 1 to 5 (#2 seems plenty for me in the house), the carbon fiber and finish is of very high quality and looks great, it’s narrow enough to get through most doorways, and the arm rests easily fold up when needed.Cons: I’ve only owned the chair for over 1 month (and never gone outside with it yet) and the chair creaks and flexes when crossing flooring thresholds, the battery life seems to be declining already, the motors really struggle when trying to turn at low speeds on carpet (which makes me believe that it would be nearly impossible to use on grass or softer outdoor surfaces, the seat cushion provided is really thin and uncomfortable (the user needs to replace it immediately with something more comfortable), the controller has an obnoxiously loud beeper on it- they cannot be turned off- that sounds every time you power up the chair or go backwards (it’s seriously loud and wakes up everyone in the house when I try to use the chair at night…why do I need to hear that I powered on the chair? What was Pride thinking with this ‘feature’?!), no cup/phone/cane holder included or as options (I am going to design my own and 3D print them). In summary, perhaps 4 stars might be too generous consider all of the cons and lack of perfection. This chair could be much better. Despite its shortcomings, I do like the chair and it helps me get mobile and back to some semblance of normal life. if you don’t need the lightweight carbon fiber or folding features, there are many other options at about half the price of the Jazzy Carbon.
