This is the second table of this kind that I have purchased. I have used one in the kitchen as an extra workspace. I can use it next to the sink to prepare food then roll it over to the stove to have my food, spices, or whatever I need handy for cooking. I have limited counter space and this table really comes in handy. This is also a great way for anyone who uses a wheelchair to have an accessible workspace in the kitchen…and it can be moved anywhere that you need it!I have used this table in the dining room as an extra place to put food when when entertaining. It’s great for anyone who is working on a small projects such as many type of crafts, and, of course, many people use it for their laptops.I purchased my second table to use in my office. I spend a lot of time researching genealogy and find I never have enough space to spread my papers. Anyone who has worked on genealogy knows that papers, notes, files, books, etc. tend to multiply. I can keep the files that I’m researching close at hand whenever I need to refer to refer to them. This helps keep the workspace in front of me from being too cluttered.This table to very well made. It was fairly easy to put together (the second time is always easier). Here are my suggestions for assembling the table. Read the directions very carefully. Be sure to follow the instructions regarding the “black screw.” Most people will assemble the table in an upside down position because it is easier to get to everything. When it is together and the wheels are on, turn the table right side up BEFORE REMOVING THE BLACK SCREW! The table to spring loaded and will shoot right up in the air if you remove that screw too soon! Note: I had to use a flashlight to find the black screw. Follow these instructions and you shouldn’t have any problems.The table has adjustable heights and is easy to move up and down. The wheels are very good and moved very easily. I highly recommend this table to anyone who could use a little extra workspace!This is an excellent purchase and a very good price!

Great value. This table is sturdy and extremely functional. My wife has suffered 2 strokes and has no control of her left arm and limited control of her left leg. This table meets her needs perfectly. We use it in the bedroom next to her side of the bed. It has a good amount of surface area, rolls easily on its wheels on hard floor so she can move it out of the way and pull it closer to her easily, has more than enough height adjustment to easily fit over her legs and the wheels are low and slide under our bed so she can pull the table directly over her in bed so she can eat and use her ipad. I bought the tilting version which is also a useful feature for her on occasion. Table feels very solid for something that can adjust and move the way it does and was easy to put together. I am bery happy and it has been a great little quality of life investment for my beautiful wife. Highly recommend!

I had shoulder surgery (rotator cuff among other things) and this helped me immensely during my recovery time, especially in the two weeks following my surgery.This was great for doing conference calls (with web ex sessions running on laptop) from bed.I saw another reviewer say the same thing, which is why I purchased one as well.There are a couple of things I like especially:-the height is adjustable pneumatically, meaning you hold a lever and push down or apply very gentle force to let it lift, like an office chair. This is the easiest possible way to change the height and you will need this if you have an arm in a sling!-it’s basically sturdy enough for short term and infrequent useIt does require assembly…I’m mechanically inclined and it would normally be simple. It’s *not* simple when your arm is in a sling. Thankfully a family member was staying with me and was able to help with assembly which took less than 30 minutes including opening the box and disposing of packing materials.It’s not the best looking table available, but it’s not ugly either. It is, however, very functional and served its purpose. Thankfully I am recovering now and it sits in my closet; I will use it from time to time as a laptop table for bed or couch.One star off since it was shipped without a washer the instructions referred to. Luckily I was able to make due without it. I called manufacturer and they were not able to sent replacement parts and they referred me to distributor. That was just one too many more calls to make while on pain medicine so I gave up on it. And I don’t usually give up on that sort of thing!So in short, it’s functional, well made for short term and infrequent use, and as long as you have no need for customer service, this item may be just what you’re looking for.
