My husband has owned and used these scooters for over 8 years. They are very compact and excepted readily by airlines. They allow my husband to ride it to the hold. One airline employee told me it was their favorite mobility scooter because it is so compact

  2. jasmin’s lovely stuff

Just got it and tried it. Will write again in a couple of uses.Cons first. All is good except the weight. It is not light weight. I saw the videos promoting it and saw these elders lifting it up…I said maybe not my mom but I can lift it.No way… just the fact that shipping box says 2 men lift heavy… I said oh no…. Indeed it’s very heavy, don’t know if it makes it a bit lighter by taking the battery out when lifting it and put back in when in use. But all together that scooter will give me a hernia. It’s more than 50 something pounds. I got a bruise right away when lifting it up tried to hold and kind of push with my knee.. got bruised 😫. I’ll will try to take the battery out. And this is with one battery…have space for 2.. I dont see myself putting 2 at once. I guess that’s for when you will drive for long periods in case one die.Elders by their own won’t be able to lift this, it’s a back breaking.Pros. No assemble, easy unfolding and folding. Honk pretty good. Charge fast. Color nice blue. Very compact. When folded fits in any corner. I put in the hallway and have plenty space to walk next to it. It takes less than a 2’×2′ space.

  3. Galenus Medical Customer

Galenus Medical has misrepresented this item by staying in their description on Galenus Medical and their own website that the i living i3 it is a lightweight foldable mobility scooter.IT IS NOT.The item weighs about 70 lbs with the battery and other reviews of this item have said the same thing so I weighed it and their product is misrepresented. False advertising shakes my confidence in Galenus Medical. After making Galenus Medical very aware of the misleading statements about the I living scooter which they Sold and shipped to me. They wrote me and stated the scooter had been damaged in transit as the reason I called Galenus Medical support. I find this even more disturbing. The supervisor was very helpful. They need to stop advertising this as a LIGHTWEIGHT scooterOne positive is the scooter is foldable and seems to work well so far this aking it out of the box. The one reason I bought this item was because I needed it to be LIGHTWEIGHT and compact. False advertising is a state and federal offense and there are fines for making claims that are not trueThis scooters one is definitely NOT a 53 lbs. but almost 70.Can you lift this item into your car? I can’t!
