First off, you need to understand how much body weight these little handles can support. I am a tall and hefty female (6ft and 230 lb), so my review should be of use/interest to both men and women.I needed a reliable grab bar after knee surgery, but didn’t want to permanently install one that would damage the bathroom tile. Found it!This model was super easy to install: with the end/cup levers in the up position, place the suction cups over clean and smooth tile surfaces only, *AVOIDING GROUT LINES*. While firmly pushing the handle against the wall, snap the levers down flat to lock into position. If the suction cup is touching a grout line it will not hold the suction and if not properly placed you’ll risk injury upon use.I have put my full weight on it to hop in and out of the shower, and pull myself up from a seated position at the tub. The grab bar didn’t shift one bit. It is very sturdy. I have full confidence in it’s ability to support me over the next 4 weeks of recovery.I recommend the purchase of this product. It is well made and competitively/reasonably priced. 👍
