- Superior Materials for Safer Moving: Flat and rigid boards are made from deluxe, heavy-duty, coated wood. Two sizes accommodate patients up to 350 lbs. (159 kgs) and 450 lbs. (204 kgs). Boards are treated with a permanent coating for easy cleanup.
- Smooth and Sealed Surface: The permanent coating and tapered ends provide a non-slip surface for users to slide comfortably and safely to their next seated position. The coating reduces friction and prevents chipping, snagging or creating splinters.
- Available With or Without Handgrips: Transfer boards are made with one or two oval-shaped, cutout handgrips or no handgrips. Hand holes offer additional leverage to stabilize, maneuver or carry the boards. Use without handgrips for a solid surface.
- Sold in Two Sizes and Three Styles: Choose your style! Wooden transfer boards are available in two sizes, 8″ x 24″and 8″ x 30″. Thickness ranges from 0.79″ to 0.87″. Handgrips are also optional.

Much better than trying to cobble together something out of whatever you have hanging around. If you need something for your PT exercises, this is a great purchase. We didn’t need one longer than this model even though there were those options. Smooth, no splinters, works as it should.
