I am heavy (320),not very mobile and have limited strength in my legs and knees. These rails worked very well for bathroom assist. I could sit and stand back up with ease , The rails are very sturdy. Easy to assemble and very portable so they can be easily moved out of the way when not needed.

I had knee surgery 3 years ago and medicare paid for a toilet frame that included a seat and a removable pot so it could be used as a commode or raised toilet frame. I called it the toilet frame of torture. The flimsy seat pinched my legs. It was too narrow. And the whole thing was a fail.So, with my second knee surgery approaching fast, I went looking for a better solution. This is it.The handrails make getting up and down a breeze. There’s plenty of open space for cleaning functions (think about the Charmin bears). It’s light weight but sturdy. And putting it together was really easy. You can fold it flat by removing a couple of plastic clips.I think the next time I travel I’m going to take it along because hotels seldom have ACA height toilets and grab bars in all their rooms. (Though they should!)
