This is exactly what I need for my daughter. It is very lightweight as advertised, compact, and easy to maneuver. She is very petite at 5’2” and needs a chair that she can easily lift into her car. We had a Drive Blue Streak with 24” wheels. However it is way too bulky, doesn’t fit in a car trunk, and she cannot lift it. The Feather is perfect. It is compact enough to easily fit into a vehicle without straining to lift it and can be lifted with one hand. I am so excited to find this wheel chair for my daughter. She is a young adult and has starting having mobility issues. She can only walk short distances, and has become unable to go out by herself because she could not get a chair in/out of the car by herself. I am working on a lift and other mobility aids but this will be a huge help until I get everything else in place for her. I also noticed that it is very easy to fold/unfold and the feet are easy to remove or attach as needed. I am so happy! This is my 3rd attempt at a wheelchair for her and I wish I had found this one sooner. The wheels are 22” compared to 20” for the other lightweight chair I tried for her. The additional 2” makes a big difference in maneuvering for a short person and it is still more lightweight than the smaller chair I am returning. The Feather is the most expensive one I have bought but I am certain it will be worth the extra money.

The Feather Light arrived last night and I opened it this morning. I am a life-long wheelchair user and own one of the best wheelchairs you can buy. I bought this one to use in my convertible for trips to the restaurant or store. This machine is remarkable. First of all, it came a week early. I was expecting a week from yesterday. Secondly, it is really light. It is lighter than my titamium wheelchair which cost $5,000.00. Thirdly, the engineering is incredable. Every component is engineered for cost effectiveness and weight. How long will it last? We shall see but I am really impressed.
