My husband had a total hip replacement and is due to have total knee replacement done in a couple of months. We knew we needed a transport wheelchair as well as a walker to help him get around. Having adjustable arms, made it perfect for his height. Falls up easily to place in the back of the car and it’s not too heavy. Great investment.

So I knew this was going to be a sturdy walker/wheelchair.After taking it out of the box, it was easy enough to put together. No tools required and anyone could do it. The instructions were easy enough to understand, and the chair and pieces are labeled indicating what goes where.. However, there was nothing in the instructions about where and how to put the seat belt on. I figured it out though. You slide the handles out of the chair, slide the seatbelt onto the rails of the handles, then slide the handles back in. It wasn’t that hard to figure out, but it would be nice if it was in the instructions.The chair was comfortable to sit in as both a walker chair, and wheelchair.The chair is heavy duty and attractive. It’s a nice color red that I think most people would like. If you want to use it as a walker, you can leave the footrests off, and rotate the back rest to the other side. This allows the person to use it as a walker, then lock the brakes (which are adjustable), and sit in it when they need to rest. If you want to use it as a push wheelchair, you rotate the back rest to the other side, have the person sit in the chair, put the seatbelt on them and adjust it, then have them put their feet on the foot rests. It’s a good 2 in 1 design in my opinion.The wheels are large. It should be easier going over small bumps, transitions from hard flooring to carpet, and up curbs compared to other walkers/wheelchairs on the market. It rolls and turns smoothly.If you need to transport this chair or store it in a closet, it does fold up smaller. Just take the foot rests off (they are easy to put on and take off), rotate the back rest, lift the seat so that it rests against the buckled seatbelt, grab the bar under the seat and lift.I gave this 4 stars, but I am considering that it could possibly be a 5 star chair. It seems durable and sturdy, looks good, functions well, is not too light and not too heavy, is easy to transport, has LOTS of storage, and is a nice design.

As I mentioned in my Review Title I appreciated the way Farani has provided the two in one functionality of their chair. This is the first multi-function model rollator I’ve had the pleasure to review. So let me begin with my Likes for this Rollator/Transport Chair, this device was one of the easiest models to assemble especially with their quick-release locking screws for the handle bars, the heavy duty aluminum frame is a plus that will add longevity and easy maintenance to this rollator, I like the large 10″ front wheels which makes it very easy to maneuver and the rubber tires they’ve used are much better than many rollators that use the cheaper PVC tires, the provided detachable footrests are of course required when this rollator is being used as a transport chair but the fact that they can be reversed to fit out of the way to the rear of the front forks when using this device as a rollator is thinking out of the box so they don’t have to take up space in the large storage bag beneath the seat (I’ve included a pic to note the storage position of the footrests when not in use), the handle height of this walker can be adjusted from 33 inches to 39 inches to accommodate users between 4 feet 8 inches and 6 feet tall, the maximum user weight capacity is 300 lbs. and they’ve included a cane holder as well as a safety belt for the users that may require the belt during its’ use as a transport chair. For anyone wondering about the net weight of this device, Galenus Medical’s Rufus states that this rollator weighs 21.2 lbs., making it a lightweight and portable option.Now I have a short list of what I will mention as not real complaints so much as my critiques for the manufacturer, for the price I would have liked to have seen a cup holder provided for when I’m using this device as a rollator, since I’m just under 6 feet tall the backrest currently hits me in the small of my back but I would prefer it to have been placed somewhere below my shoulders but above the small of my back and a little extra chair width would be a nice feature for us guys with a larger width frame, none of these issues are deal breakers since this two in one Rollator/Transport Chair does work for me but with some minor changes it could be made to be more user friendly for a wider group of potential buyers.
