I was a little leery ordering this item based on some of the feedback provided. Having had knee surgery, I needed a solution that would allow me to work with my leg elevated. The desk was easy to assemble, and the clearance above my bed is perfect. The desk is stable and sturdy. Love this product as it actually allows space for four 17 inch monitors. Great value for the price.
Bougie On A Budget –
Purchased for my brother who broke his hip (and unrelated) became paralyzed. Purchased specifically for him to work remotely – this allowed him to have his computer, monitor, necessary room for papers- plus with rollers – allowed for movement.(Regrettably after we purchased – assembled the desk table- his employer refused to allow him to work remotely (as he did for 3 years prior).)

I have used it a few times and with a few adjustments it works very well. I have a queen adjustable bed the hight is perfect. The only changes I made was to push the sides in further the the notches under the desk making the side to side smaller. Also makes it more sturdy and easier to move. There was one piece missing on the leg insert.
