I had a left total knee replacement done a week and a half ago. You can’t move ANYwhere without a walker, because you can’t walk, and even then it’s very difficult to get around. I had a traditional small cheap walker first, and I was in the misery every day. I can’t believe the pre-op team didn’t recommend buying a rollator of this type. That little junkie Walker was absolutely miserable to use when you need something that can support 100% of your weight. I started getting bruises on the palms of my hands, and my chest muscles and triceps were absolutely killing me from supporting 100% of my weight on my hands and arms. This rollator walker completely changed my life! It is a DREAM to use! And to be able to stand upright and rest your forearms on it is just amazing. All the pain has gone away in my hands and chest muscles and triceps. It rolls verrry smoothly and turns verrry smoothly. It’s completely adjustable, and it even has shock absorbers that absorb your body weight when you press down on the armrests to support yourself. It has a bag/basket in the front that you can dump things in to take with you from room to room or when you leave your home, it has a drink holder, the brakes work great, and it even has a seat that you can use for when you need to sit down periodically. I do not have enough good things to say about this piece of equipment. I would highly recommend it to anyone who needs a walker!

I got the Ellenker Upright Walker because I’ve been using a cane and it’s no longer effective. I am told that most people using canes should be using walkers instead for safety reasons. A walker is the best thing for me. I bought this one because it says you can use it outside as well which is a big deal. Whether it’s to go to the mailbox or walking around the grocery store it makes me feel so much better. It opens up your chest area rather than leaning with a Cane. It also has storage which makes things so much easier on me not to have to carry everything in my arms and try to walk. The only Downside is it’s large and it’s bulky It’s heavy. So unless you have a large vehicle you have to adjust the length and the handlebars to get it into a vehicle. Also if you have weakness issues you will need someone to put it in the car for you. The quality of this product is excellent it was very easy to put together if you have the strength. If you are using a cane you should definitely consider a walker. It is so much safer and makes it easier for you to get around. The upright walkers are so much better than the old-fashioned leaning over it way. It keeps your back straight and support your arms as well. It also has safety features like hand brakes that you can use to slow yourself down also has a good locking system on the handles in addition it has lower handles that you can use from a sitting position to stand up. I would encourage you to watch videos on these walkers as they give you explanations on how to use them.

Brakes are not that effective but like all the others with plastic wheels well made and worth the cost. We do no add lambs wool to line the forearm rests mine very bony and simple solution. Very light easy to fold up for travel. Sturdy and fits all but the small bathrooms
