After enjoying this wheelchair for about a month I noticed a missing cosmetic black cap on one of the nuts on the foot rest. While I could’ve lived without that part, I decided to report it to Galenus Medical. To my surprise, I received an email from Litthu (the company that sold me the wheelchair) the next day. I have to say the customer support was far better than I was expecting. I received photographs of the chair to confirm the part that was missing and they are now sending me the replacement part. I am reassured that if something really important were to fail on this chair I would receive the same kind of excellent support. I have to be honest and say I really wasn’t expecting that kind of prompt professional support having purchase this online through Galenus Medical. To be contacted by the seller the very next day was a very big surprise. Not only was this one of the least expensive chairs on the market. It came to me within three days and is excellent quality and has all the same features of other chairs selling for much more. And now to have had this experience with customer service over a cosmetic part I am really impressed.Thank you Galenus Medical and Litthu for your excellent customer support. It is very much appreciated.

I’ve been using this mobility scooter for a while now, and while it has some great features that make it a good choice for many, there are a few drawbacks to consider before purchasing. The Positives1. Compact and FoldableOne of the biggest selling points of this scooter is how compact it becomes when folded. I was pleasantly surprised by how easily it folds down to fit in the trunk of my small car. It’s perfect for someone like me who needs a reliable mobility option but doesn’t have a lot of storage space. Folding and unfolding it takes a little practice, but once you get the hang of it, it’s quick and efficient.2. Inflatable Tires Provide a Smooth RideThe inflatable tires are a nice touch compared to the solid ones on many other scooters. They absorb small bumps and make for a much smoother ride on flat surfaces like sidewalks or paved paths. This makes a noticeable difference in comfort during longer trips.3. Stability with 4 WheelsThe 4-wheel design gives the scooter great stability, especially on flat terrain. It feels secure, and I never worry about tipping over when making turns or maneuvering through crowded spaces.4. Lightweight and PortableDespite its sturdiness, the scooter is relatively lightweight, which makes it easier to transport. I can lift it into my car trunk with minimal effort, though it might be a bit heavy for some users. The Negatives1. Bolts Constantly Need TighteningThis is by far the most frustrating issue with the scooter. After just a few uses, I noticed that some bolts were coming loose. I now make it a habit to check and tighten all the bolts before heading out. While this isn’t a dealbreaker, it’s an inconvenience that I wish I didn’t have to deal with. It makes me question the long-term durability of the scooter.2. Doesn’t Handle Slopes WellWhile the scooter performs beautifully on flat surfaces, it struggles on slopes. Even small inclines can be challenging, and I’ve found myself needing assistance in steeper areas. If you live in a hilly area or plan to use it in places with uneven terrain, this might not be the best option.3. Limited Range and SpeedThis isn’t a huge issue for me, but it’s worth noting that the scooter isn’t the fastest, nor does it have the longest battery range. It’s great for short trips around town, but you’ll want to plan ahead if you’re going somewhere farther.Overall ThoughtsDespite its shortcomings, I think this mobility scooter is a solid option for someone looking for a compact and portable solution. The folding feature, inflatable tires, and stability are big advantages, especially for city dwellers or those who need to transport their scooter frequently. However, the loose bolts and poor performance on slopes are worth keeping in mind.If you’re using it primarily on flat, paved surfaces and are willing to do some occasional maintenance, this scooter is a great choice. For areas with rougher terrain or more inclines, you might want to explore other models. Overall, I’m satisfied with my purchase, but there’s definitely room for improvement.
