Worked well and easy to install

You can install VOCIC’s powered toilet seat. We have an mobility challenged guest coming for the holidays and the last time they were here, we needed to help them up and down off and on the toilet because it’s too low for them. Seeing this seat was a reason to celebrate. No one wants to help Granny toilet, but we do it because it’s what you do. This means that now she can stay at the house by herself if she doesn’t want to go out in the cold with us. It really is as simple as installing a toilet seat. You do need to be aware that this does require an outlet near the toilet.It’s got some heft to it. This thing is super sturdy and due to the weight, I have no doubt it will support the 330 pounds as stated in the listing. I like that the support arms are optional, so if Granny ever moves to a wheelchair, we can adapt the rails and remove one or both of them. It’s not noisy at all. I like after Granny goes home, it’s as simple to remove the seat as it is to put back on. We’ll just shuffle the seat during her visits. VOCIC provided a solution that we had no idea existed, but I’m so happy to have it to offer Granny along with her dignity. Strong work and 20 out of 10 for the problem solving alone. Add in how easy it is to install and use, 100 out of 10!!!!

Disappointment. It seems to fit only oval shaped toilet seats. I have a round one and it does not fit. Secondly you need an outlet next to the toilet because the cord is not very long. Good thing about this toilet seat is it will help you get up off of the toilet if you’re having trouble rising from seated position. Also it will hold up to 330 lb. I can’t recommend this one where the other because I cannot use it so be sure it will fit your toilet before you purchase it.
