This chair is very helpful. My husband lost most of the use of his right side, and it’s diminished his ability to walk.The chair works great on smooth surfaces. It gets stopped by the smallest bump. We need to rock it backwards to get it over those bumps, which is why I took off a star.It’s perfect for transporting him around the home, store, or doctor’s office. It’s just difficult to get over any variance in surface level.It’s stable, feels safe, perfect height, and lightweight enough for me to lift easily.The wheels lock well when I’m getting him in and out.So, overall, a great purchase with just one small flaw

Hard to purchase something like this online. But I was referred this product by a friend that purchased it for her father for to and from doctors appointments. It was perfect. It’s sturdy and easy to fold and put in the trunk of a car. It’s easier than my mother’s walker! I took a chance and used it to take my mother out and about and it worked perfectly. Great price and product. So relieved.

We ordered this from Galenus Medical when our university hospital and DME contractor told us it would be 5 days to get us a wheel chair. Galenus Medical had it to our home and my wife sitting in it with her crushed pelvis in less than 24 hours. A friend sent on to a relative, and that took 5 days. Come on! I wish Galenus Medical would open som hospitals and clinics and manage health care like a real business. As a doctor, I would welcome that efficiency and quality. We got all our DME at great value from our Galenus Medical Prime account.This wheel chair is a top of the line, versital, sturdy piece of quality equipment. It is easy to maneuver in small spaces and light enough for an old homer like me to toss into the suv.

Pros:- It works as expected. It’s lightweight and compact.- Breaks are solid.- Wheels appear to be sturdy- Easy to fold and carry in a smaller car trunk.Cons:- Handles feel a bit tall does not fit easily under the dining table or the office desk. I wish it was adjustable/removable.- The seat is not as comfortable. It has no cushion.Other than that no complains.

Even though the wheelchair arrived late, it turned out to be a perfect fit for our father. Easy set up, light weight and not bulky at all. Dad was happy and that’s all it mattered to us.

My grandma (82) came to visit me, she is still very mobile but her legs get tired very fast. She still likes to walk so this chair was great and easy to push, she could use it to steady herself while walking around. We went to visit Monticello which has a lot of ups and downs elevation wise but this chair handled it so well. The chair is sturdy and so easy to just fold up to take on and off shuttles or pack up in a small car. I was able to get it cheaper as an open-box item and it was definitely worth every single dollar I paid for it! The leg rests are EASILY removable and swing back and forth seamlessly. They did such a great job manufacturing this chair! We had a couple people ask us where we got it.

Need this to get from my car into stores for shopping when I’m too tired to use my walker it’s perfect. Easy to fold and fits behind the front seat of my suv.

I bought this about 5 months ago for my mother. It fits great in my small SUV (Subaru Crosstrek) – I don’t have to put down the back seat like I had to with our other wheelchair. I can also lift it in and out without too much strain (I’m 5’1″). We brought it to Costa Rica with us and fit it into the rental car with all our luggage (put it behind passenger seat). However, any uneven surfaces the wheels do not go over without you stepping on the bar to lift the chair up. A little sand on the roads, uneven sidewalk, and grass are all difficult to push mom in this wheelchair. I just called the manufacturer hoping there were other wheels I can switch out and they said no. We’re going on another trip and it’s great through the airport and narrow alleys in stores but our host wants to go to an apple orchard and mom and I will end up probably in the store since this chair cannot easily be pushed on rougher surfaces. I really don’t want to spend more money on a new wheelchair again.

Sturdy and just what was neededat great price.
Damaged and stressed ligaments and other soft tissue around both knees and left in 2 story house living alone…totally unable to really walk for days and realized wheels could facilitate the best healing opportunity and yet I could still get around. the house. Had wheeled item on both floors and now fold it so easily in car and walk myself around the big stores. And soon will use outdoors as support to walk and then to sit to rest ligaments. Runs so smoothly and gets through the narrow doorways in this old house. At 78 I might need it again and even when healed now, will be keeping it around. Great price and more comfy to sit than walker and not so ungainly to pack up as I did for my mother’s for years.

This is my 2nd Drive Medical the first one did not have the brakes on the wheels so I had to buy another one. I love them they’re very light. This one is for Mom on the regular one that has very big cumbersome wheels. I also purchased the gel cushion.
