I bought this product for my mother, who is 92 and has dementia. It has delivered on all my expectations. Mom is only 4″11″ and the low handle setting is the perfect height for her (as is the seat). She was very unsteady walking on her own but walks quite confidently with the rollator. An added bonus is that she can now walk erect, with her head up, vs. slumped with her head down. Since Mom has dementia, she has no idea how to use the brakes. However, I can walk beside her with my hand on the wheelchair handle to provide any assistance she might need in slowing down on ramps. The rollator is sturdy and handles outdoor terrain (sidewalks and some grassy/gravel areas) very well. I chose not to keep the storage basket on the unit (to keep things simple and light) but the seat very handy to carry anything we need (as we are using the unit as a rollator 100% of the time). The unit also folds easily and is easy to pick up and store as it only weighs 22 pounds. I highly recommend this product for anyone who is a bit unsteady or does not have the stamina to walk far on their own.

Bought this for someone with Parkinsons disease.Pros: Lightweight, east to fold and unfold, feet rests for wheelchair side. Back rest flips over for walker to wheel chair transition. Handles on the back extend so person pushing the wheelchair does not need to bend over.Cons. There are hand breaks on the handles for the walker, or pusher, but no way to lock those when stopped. This came into play when transitioning person from car to this device, on a bit of a slope.- Person using it loves it. Had about a week is all. This is a great combo unit.

We love the original DRIVE folding walker but it was always difficult if my wife needed to sit while I pushed her. She would be facing me which was great for conversation but not ideal for travelling. When we saw one of these while on a Cruise, we immediately ordered it when returning to land. It is much lighter than a standard wheelchair and works great as a folding walker. (Only comes in RED though.) When walking through a small store, the way it folds and still works as a walker is wonderful. But when she needs to sit and be pushed, the conversion to wheelchair with foot supports is very quick and easy. It also travels well on airplanes as ‘checked luggage’. The only downside to be aware of is that unlike a normal wheelchair, she can’t propel herself. (That’s what you give up without the heavy big wheels). This is a great device and if you are looking at just ‘walkers’, definitely give this a second look.
