This board worked perfectly for a disabled senior to get herself off the bed onto a chair. Handles are good and the wood is smooth and sturdy.

Nice and sturdy. Strong transfer board.
Garden –
This was recommended to me by a nurse for my mother who has a broken ankle.To me, it looks like a good paddle to encourage her to do leg strengthening exercises. I am concerned that the board will make it to easy to transfer between chairs and little muscle gain will be encouraged. But this is certainly not true for many people, so I will give it 5 stars.
