Finally I found a chair that will work for me. It feels safe, it’s well made, and it goes smoothly. I don’t always have to use it, but when I have used it it has performed well.UPDATE! I brought this on our vacation to Los Cabos and I can’t say enough about how awesome this chair was. It performed perfectly!There were several long and steep ramps that I had to climb to get to the restaurants that were elevated (so you can get an ocean view) and this chair handled it like a champ. We were there 2 weeks and never had a single problem. It went well through the airports and was easy to fold down. You have to remove the battery to fly, but the company sends you a really nice bag to carry it in, and you just use it like a regular carry-on. This company thought of everything.I was in the chair for long periods of time and it was comfortable. I just can’t say enough about this chair and it’s performance. I had two other power sheelchairs prior to this and this was by far the best! And the cost roughly the same amount so it’s a great buy.

I bought as a Christmas present for my disabled mother. It was very nice but did not function and was sent with an old dirty toolbag with black mold, disintegrated cardboard, spiderwebs and a manual that told me nothing. There was a random wire hanging from the back and I tried contacting them for over a week to troubleshoot. Ended up having to return but they wanted ME to pay shipping?! I am so disappointed but more importantly my poor mother desperately needed it. It’s a real shame and I will never order a high price item thru Galenus Medical because of this seller and their complete lack of customer service. Sad.

Ordered on March 25, 2024. Worked great for about 4 months, then it decided it wouldn’t work anymore (See the video). Now it’s been another 3 months since I tried to get warranty service. I’ve archived (at minimum) 13 emails on this. Their story is, the “Wolf” parts are not in stock. Funny thing, they still have the “Wolf” model on sale on Galenus Medical (now $300 cheaper) and on their own Culver-Mobility website. My controller (joystick) seems to be the issue, and I’m certain they use the same joystick on several models. I think they are waiting for my 1-year warranty to expire so they can sell me the parts. NEVER AGAIN WILL I TRUST THESE FOLKS! Don’t waste your money.****UPDATE**** I finally received a new joystick (after 3 months waiting). It was the complete solution, as it is much heavier and replaces the control box as well. Plug and play and instantly my chair is running better than ever. Took a bit of hounding, but they finally came through. I don’t know how much effect my complaining to Galenus Medical helped, but apparently it didn’t hurt.

The Culver Electric Wheelchair is a miracle. It came out of the box put together. Very little assembly was needed. Before getting the electric chair, long distances where difficult to do. With the electric chair, long distances are very easy. The electric wheelchair has given me independence and allows me to get out in the community more.

I just used it for the first time. I ordered the black leather chair. It is not black leather. It is black cloth. That was disappointing for the price I paid. The joystick is very sensitive so practice in a clear area until you get the hang of it. The footrest is on the small side and it pops off the bars it snaps onto rather easily. It would be helpful if it was bigger so it would be more comfortable but I do like the fact that it fold up for ease in getting on but it’s hard to flip it down once you are on it if you are wearing a dress. Hoping to contact seller for a partial refund since it’s not leather as advertised. I reached out to the company to return it as it is not comfortable. To use the footrest your knees have to stay bent at 90 degree angle which is not comfortable if you have knee issues. I do not recommend this motorized wheelchair or the company.
