I have some degenerating neck vertebra (which showed up in an MRI) and an old shoulder/scapula injury that makes it uncomfortable to sleep at times. A regular pillow just did not provide enough support. One of my therapists suggested folding a big bath towel and placing under my bed pillow to help cradle my head and add some neck support. It would work for awhile until I changed sleep positions at night and then the towel would slide, etc. and I would be back to the same old problems. While researching cervical pillows I came across this one. The pillow arrived next day service in a box. I just removed it from the box and allowed it to air out some. It does come with a removable pillow case but I placed a standard size pillow case over the pillow as well for extra protection. It has two sides you can pick to adjust the height of support under your neck and the middle of the pillow kind of cradles your head. It is firm support not like some squishy regular pillows. The pillow does help me retain a better sleep position too and keep my body aligned both on my back and when I roll over on my side. I found it to be helpful enough that my husband decided he wanted one of the pillows too. The day the delivery person brought my husband’s pillow and handed it to me he said, “Oh, I have one of those too!” (he recognized the box the pillow came it)-and mentioned using it for neck problems too. So, that makes three of us making use of this Cervical Neck pillow.

This pillow is so nice. It’s soft and supportive. I had my doubts, but purchased because it was a better price than the high end options.I’m actually really impressed!The pillow is a little bouncy, soft material, and has 2 supporting edges (one small, one large).I’ve been using it for about a week and I’m sold!
