I wasn’t convinced at first because it wasn’t the something like they had at the physical therapist, but after using it on a pulled muscle and sore legs, I was completely sold. Buy this if you are a serious athlete or just someone who cares about their health. It works great if you need help with muscles issues, from pulled to sore muscles.

I only have had this for a few hours but I absolutely love it. The settings on endurance are easy to work you up to higher levels and it seems to be very smart settings. I have other cheap EMS units and they are nothing like this. I will update after some real time using it.

I originally bought the Sports Elite, but upgraded to these. The wireless feature makes them much easier to deal with. The unit is well made, and well designed. Points to consider:You must take care of the pads. I quickly got mine dirty, and they lost their stickiness – this was due to body oil. Now I shower before I use them. Also wipe down your skin with rubbing alcohol with a cloth (paper towels leaves lint).Light rub the pads with a clean damp cloth In one direction, then they start to lose their stickiness when they start to lose stickiness. The Spectre electrode gel, is very useful to give them stickiness. Make sure to stick pads back on plastic, and seal in the plastic bag they came in. I also put the bag into the 2nd larger plastic bag, with the ‘lip’ that lets you seal them. I store them in the freezer. This definitely extends the life of the pads. One issue is, the wireless electrodes are on the heavy side, so they are more prone to fall off when stickiness gets weak. I wear the pads for about 1 1/2 hours. Moving them to various muscles. They tend to start falling off when I go this long. I am buying their armbands, which hold them in place. The advantage of being wireless is a big plus. Other wise, it is somewhat a chore to move pads around.Compex doesn’t give you much insight and instruction.. I have called and gotten information easily (some complain of poor tech support) but I didn’t find that thru. There are a LOT of videos online. Be sure to go over as much as you can, both Compexs and other brands. It takes a while to sort thru all the info, and figure out what is best for you. A lot depends on your pad placement. If they are not properly placed you get minimal value. Also this in not a ‘replacement’ for working out. You won’t lose fat, you need to exert yourself for that. They make an excellent complement to an active workout, if you want to put on muscle.I’m 70, so I don’t make as much testosterone anymore. But these definitely are starting to give me some definition.Using it as a Tens unit is good too for relieving pain.
