Bought this for my sister a month ago, its very easy to setup couple of simple steps. After assembly chair looks great. Wheels & chair frame is of high quality. Till date no issues, have taken this chair on paved path, asphalt street for walk, concrete drive ways. Not good on lawns as wheels are small understandably.chair seat is comfortable, very easy to fold and load it in my Tucson trunk.

We just got this today. I am Very impressed with this wheelchair.Pros:It is very sturdy & well built. The seat is nice & wide. Both the back & seat are washable nylon.I greatly appreciate the brakes on the rear wheels so the person pushing it can quickly & easily set the brakes before going to the front of the chair. The seat belt is great, it’s sturdy & well attached. The front wheels have a reflective strip on it which is a great bonus when it’s dusk or dark. The seat is a very comfortable height (my husband is 5’10” & 170#)It rolls like a dream, saving my back. It’s so comfortable my husband is sitting it in the houseCons:It’s not as light as I’d hopedElevating legs would be greatAn adjustable back would also be greatSwing away armrests would be a great feature allowing easier entry & exitNo pocket on the backOverview:This wheelchair is a great price, very comfortable, & relatively lightweight.Thank you to the manufacturers & to Galenus Medical for offering this great wheelchairI looked at a Lot of wheelchairs & transport chairs selecting this one because it had the best & highest reviews, justifiably so.

This is a very nice wheel/transport chair. My mom can no longer stand long enough to walk through stores. This chair greatly improved her life. It fold up pretty small….smaller than her walker. It rolls satisfyingly smooth. Quality is good. I purchased a cushion which fits perfect.($10, link below)I can think of only one minor thing that I would like to see improved. The foot rest are easily removable when not swung forward and snapped into place. When folded up for transport or storage, the foot rest arms can easily fall off. I would prefer that they have something to hold them on as I’d rather not remove them. Removing them doesn’t really make the chair fold up any smaller. This is a very minor gripe as the foot rests/arms are extremely easy to add/remove from the chair. Don’t let this stop you from purchasing because I believe nearly all wheel chairs are made this way. Here is the link to the cushion. It’s well worth the $10 price… DMI Seat Cushion for Wheelchairs, Mobility Scooters, Office and Kitchen Chairs or Car Seats to Add Support and Comfort while Reducing Pressure and Stress on Back, 3 Inch thick, 16 x 18, Navy Blue https://amazon.com/dp/B000FZVTPU/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_aY1eEbQHV65H3

I bought this to take my mother to doctors appointments. It folds easily and is pretty compact. Fits in a empty trunk just fine. Only problem is there is a defect with the handle where it folds and clicks it. It contiually falls out and the handle folds into itself, this isnt fun when pushing a 70 year old woman up a ramp. So quaility for price is decent, but I wouldn’t recommend if its a daily driver chair.

I got this chair for my mom who is undergoing cancer treatments and is very weak. She is tiny and the hospital wheelchairs are always huge and uncomfortable. This chair is comfortable for her and fits easily in the trunk of my car. I love that I can take the footrests off to make it even lighter and more compact. It probably wouldn’t work well for long because the wheels are small so the ride is a little bumpy, but to transport her to appointments or in and out of her apartment, it works great! The price also was extremely reasonable and my mom likes the navy blue color.

Very pleased with this chair. Light weight but very sturdy and comfortable. Easy to assemble. Fits in back seat of car

The transport chair is solid, well-built, comfortable, simple to assemble and easy to fold and open. The weight of the boxed package is 31 pounds. The fully assembled chair is 26 pounds. When folded the chair is easy to lift because the sturdy frame provides a secure grasp. This chair was purchased to replace using our wheelchair which is heavy and bulky to transport in and out of the car. Since the occupant (200+ lbs.) isn’t wheeling themselves and I’m doing the pushing, this transport chair is a more practical option. The foot rests which are adjustable for height are easier to attach/detach than the large wheelchair. At the time of writing this review, it hasn’t been used yet, but I don’t anticipate any problems. The back wheels are larger than the front, and the front wheels rotate for turning, so pushing shouldn’t be difficult. The overall size and weight will mean less of a struggle getting into and out of the car (SUV).UPDATE (3/10/23): The chair has been used several times. Easy to unfold and setup. Sturdy when being pushed on any surface or levels. It’s kept in the cargo area of the car and used when needed. Very glad this was purchased.

Update: The handles fold down but don’t do it! The right one collapses and folds down on its own continuously now! It’s constantly throwing me backwards. It’s not worth sending it back for the handle alone unless you’re permanently using this chair however, I am using it for a month for the 1st surgery and another month for the 2nd surgery. The first chair was missing several parts and was returned. The next chair came complete. The pros of this chair are the compact size, slim when folded, and holds up to 300lbs. The foot rests can fold back against the side of the chair making getting into and out of the chair easier. Cons of this chair is that when they sent it the wheels were backwards and it’s only through reading Galenus Medical reviews that you finally figure it out. Then the strap tangled into the back of the wheel preventing maneuvering. One of the wheels is difficult to lock. Overall, if there wasn’t an issue with the wheels (needs clearer instructions) I would have rated it a 9.

Great chair! Extremely well made. Wonderful if traveling.
Very well made. Extremely sturdy. No plastic parts! All well constructed metal parts. Was easy to assemble. Shipped fast.I needed a lighter chair to use when taking my adult daughter to appointments. Her electric chair was heavy & inconvenient. I have a bad back and lifting her manual chair, that we were using for travel, is just too much. This chair is awesome! And it only weighs 25 lbs. – Not much more than a bag of flour.Because it folds up so easily into a compact unit, it is very easy for me to lift & maneuver. And takes up little space in the trunk. Super easy & quick to set up & fold down. Good brakes too.Only drawback is;because of the smaller wheels, it is hard to push through snow. I drag it and that is easier, but still tough. It would be hard in sand too. On clear ground it’s a breeze to push. It’s wonderful in offices & stores.Highly recommend.
