I ordered this wedge pillow for my husband after his surgery. It worked great, and helped support his back in the bed, during recovery. Would definetely recommend.

This pillow is stiff and provides stability for my back and sciatic nerve pain.It has rubberized nubs which keep it from sliding around. It forces me to keep my spine straight when I sleep on my side and not slouch during sleep and that keeps my sciatic problem from hurting. SO glad I bought this pillow.

If you’re just using it for a position or to keep someone from getting bedsores it’s probably just fine. I purchased it because I was having back problems and I was looking for a way to keep myself from laying in a weird position that I didn’t have the support throughout my back. Unfortunately it did not work for my purposes. But I’m sure that it would work fine for someone who just needs to be off their back to avoid bedsores. Pillow appears to be very sturdy foam and well it is comfortable again it just wasn’t good for my needs. I wish there was a pillow out there that would keep me securely on my side without rolling backwards at all during the evening as I slept. Kind of like when you sleep on the couch and it keeps you completely straight on your side because your back is up against the back of the couch. I know that’s very specific and not everyone would have those problems as I do. But if you’re looking for a decent positioner to help your loved ones to keep them from being flat on the back this is a good alternative.
