Bed Assist Handle/Rail works only with mattresses > 5 inches in height. It will not work on low bed/platform bed with height clearance less than 12″ from floor to frame.

Straight forward utility. It does what it’s supposed to and the adjustable height was really useful. We had to lower mom’s bed recently to make it easier for her to get in and out. We just adjusted the height on this to match and avoided having to buy a different one for the lower height.
