When you have more days in the bed than out, you tend to get uncomfortable in even the best bed. This adjustable air pressure mattress is VERY helpful for that situation!Tossing and turning because you cannot begin to find a position that doesn’t cause pain is NO FUN! Restorative sleep is critical especially to those of use who need every opportunity to heal that we can get! This tube style adjustable air mattress allows your body to rest on individual tubes of air that will vary with pressure depending on the setting selected on the included motor.Set up is very simple. Prepare your bed by removing dirty linens. I like sandwiching mine between my thick mattress pad and my “cool” sheet and then putting on new bedding. The only challenge I found was having to keep the motor at the head of my bed due to electrical outlet availability. I also have mine plugged into my surge protector like my CPAP machine. We get a high amount of lightning strikes where I live, so I take extra precautions to not lose essential equipment. With that said, ensure the air tube that connects your mattress to the motor is not bent or kinked. You want to maintain clear access from the adjustable air mattress to the motor.According to the directions, once the bedding is all in place, turn on the motor and dial it up to the highest setting to allow all of the tubes to fill completely. This takes less than an hour, but is essential to receiving the most benefit. I already need a step stool to get into my bed. There is NO way I could climb in now with my air mattress. So, take precautions to access your bed safely!Replaceing the best setting for how frequently and how many tubes change air pressure takes a few nights. But once I found what worked for me, I no longer change the dial. When I am up for the day, I simply click the switch to power down the mattress. I am hopeful this will prolong the life of my motor.Overall, this is a game changer for me. I appreciate the benefits of longer periods of sleep opportunities and getting deeper sleep. As opposed to tossing and turning and not being able to even stay asleep long enough to get into deeper restorative sleep.This is a high recommended product on my self care list. If you or a loved one needs to rest in bed more due to recovering from an injury or surgery, or like in my case, just in a flare, this might be a game changer for them too! Spending more time in bed is not something I thought would become a big part of my day. Having hip issues and a boney bottom this has helped so much with those pressure points. Seeing more through my life as family members go through things like this I jumped on ordering this. At this point, I am using this off and on as needed for those longer stays in bed but for now, I am able to get up and move about and that does help. However I am sore and find it harder to find comfort. This helps with that and I do feel comfortable sleep onto of this. very helpful and easy to set up and use. I am thinking one day of ordering a bigger size if I don’t down size my bed. Bless to own one and I found that this price is worth it for a great nice sleep and to not hurt or even creat bed sores.
