I have researched the internet for different kinds of grab bars to get out of the bathtub. My husband and I are tall stout people (plus 230 lbs.) We have a tiled bathroom and did not want to install one on top of the tile trough the studs. We considered one large one attached to the floor but did not have the floor space. I ran a crossed this one and sent for it. It is easy to install and very sturdy. It helps us get up and out of the tub, even with recent shoulder surgery.
