We really like this chair. My car doesn’t have a trailer hitch. Mom can’t climb in my truck anymore. It’s a little heavy but I can manage to put it in the trunk of my car. I cover the bumper so it doesn’t scratch it, and only have to lift it up that far. Then I can push it into the trunk. Mom says it comfortable. Doesn’t cause her back to hurt even if she’s using it on a weekend trip. We have used it a lot. Dr vists, restaurants, hotels, without any problems. Fits in most handicap stalls/family bathrooms. Not as expensive as some. Looks great, cushion can be put in the washer (I air dry it). Only complaint i have is when you collapse it, it doesn’t stay closed. I’ve had to use a bungee cord so it doesn’t open when I take it out of the trunk.

I had previously tried a 3-wheel Electric Scooter, but had a couple of spills with it.I love this Wheelchair! Today was my first day taking it beyond my driveway. I had been using in my house for only 5 days. It was at 35 degrees in the mid-afternoon. I took it 8 blocks to Fred Meyer (mostly downhill), bought a couple of sodas, and returned home again uphill. My belt was too short, but I feel secure in my seat without it. I am 6 feet tall and weigh 270 lbs. and it handles well. The manual that came with it was not updated for the improved battery. I have only charged it once and it took less that 3 hours. The seat is at a height that allows me to get out of it without help. The low price put it within my reach and its features compared favorably to one I was looking at, but couldn’t afford, that would have cost me twice as much. It came fully assembled, except for having to insert the control in the armrest.

Well IT’s NOT TSA approved. Can’t be returned without paying for shipping again. Paid $100.00 to have it shipped here. I could have purchased a better chair with what shipping will cost for the chair and shipping x2. I purchased it specifically for travel, the pictures and advertising show how easily it works in airports. I need information regarding if it’s TSA approved. It’s useless if it’s not allowed on airplanes my flight is in 30 days and now I don’t have a travel chair or the funds to replace this. Seller is not helpful. Chair wasn’t great but for the price it was ok if it would get me to vacation.

I’d been hoping to get a used wheelchair for my father – just for emergency/occasional use. Nothing came up so I started looking at options online. Every one I looked at (and I did extensive research) had significant pluses and minuses. Given the need, the three things that it came down to were weight, size, and foot rest. In retrospect, suitability for outdoor use and ability to use manually should’ve also been on the list. This wheelchair looks nice enough, easily folds down, and is as light as a manual transport chair (about 35 lbs). The control is standard for electric wheelchairs and easy enough to use. Expect some training time to get used to the quirks of rear wheel drive and maneuvering. As I see others have noted, this does not do well over bumps, curbs, or even door thresholds. You have to get a running start (so to speak) and go fast. If you don’t go fast enough you’ll quickly stop and the chair starts to tip forward. Go too fast and the chair will tip back a bit as it goes over the bump. Both were nerve wracking for both me and my father. Going on grass would be a no go, unless it was manicured like a golf course. After one use the chair wouldn’t power down. I ended up disconnecting/reconnecting the battery. Essentially a computer reboot. The problem hasn’t happened again, but we haven’t used it much since that incident.Manual pushing is frustrating. The chair has a hard time going in a straight line. It tended to veer one way or another and required more effort to get back on track. The wheels don’t fully disengage from the motors, so there’s always some resistance. We had to add a 3 inch cushion for a better seating position. It seems to be designed for shorter people. On the positive side, we had no concerns about poor construction. Seating is firm. It also has real hand brakes, easily reachable when sitting in the chair. When powered, the motors provide an electronic type braking when not in motion. I wouldn’t let the chair sit this way on an incline, but the format works. Charging is simple. There’s a jack underneath the controller that the charger plugs into. A light on the charger itself gives the status (green means fully charged).I see this best used in the house with no door thresholds or inside an airport or shopping mall type environment.Three stars for overall price/performance. Just keep in mind this is wouldn’t be suitable as a full time use wheelchair.

This chair is surprisingly good! I bought this because insurance would not cover and to my surprise, it is very efficient. Battery is long lasting, made it all over Universal Studios several days without any issues, never needed to charge. I love that you can easily switch from automatic (driving) mode to manual (push mode) and the chair is fairly light when being pushed. This chair is a winner!
