This little walker is proving to be the best I’ve used! The seat is small, but the handle in the middle makes this a breeze to fold up and store in the vehicle or house. It is light enough that I can lift it in and out even with my rebuilt (L1 to S1) spine! My other walker has a bigger seat BUT my wife and I both have to lift it.Folding is a real PLUS for space and storing it in the vehicle does not mean we cannot put anything else in the back of our SUV with it, like my other one. I really like the turn radius and so far it will go over any surface and still is easy to roll! Yes, I highly recommend this walker!

It’s light, easy to open, close, use, high quality and was priced decently the day I purchased. It is used on a daily basis, mostly in my kitchen where it’s made my life much easier. I really appreciate the way it folds to take up very little room with just the tug of the loop. Not really uncomfortable sitting but haven’t tried it for long periods of time. Definitely recommend, especially for those of us that aren’t muscle bound and can’t lift 15 – 50 pounds anymore. This is the one for you.

20240605 Able Life Space Saver Rollator, Lightweight Folding Mobility Rolling Walker for Seniors and AdultsI purchased this walker as a lighter, smaller alternative to the Drive Nitros I use most of the time for a 30+ day trip we were taking. This walker is light, very easy to fold and small when totally folded. The latching strap to keep it folded is very nice.We were on a cruise ship for 27 days and in and out of buses and taxis, and the walker was very easy to deal with and store in all the vehicles. I really like that when the walker folds it gets narrower and it is easy to partially fold it to get through tight spaces. We were in several European cities with cobblestones, and this is a real bone shaker due to the small wheels. It would also jam on the stones and abruptly stop when the wheels got stuck. Learning how to deal with the very uneven cobblestone areas took a bit of practice.I have traveled with the Drive Nitro several times, and this is a MUCH more convenient walker to use while traveling. The Drive with the bigger wheels does a better job on cobblestones but in all other areas the Able Life Space Saver Rollator does a better job when travelling.Oh, one more item, I am 5 feet 6 inches and the handles would not as high As I would have liked. It was useable but a taller person should keep that in mind. The Drive Nitro is easier and a bit more stable, with a better seat, so it will stay my walker when I am home, but this was a great walker to use on our trip.

These days my husband uses a mobility scooter to travel longer distances and doesn’t use his old rollator walker any more because he needs to rest often. However… it will be awkward and a little risky to bring a scooter on a plane for an upcoming trip to Mexico. Scooter-rental prices at our destination are high and logistics of delivery and pickup would just make the trip more stressful. And the typical tourist sites at our destination are not necessarily scooter-friendly nor can most of the tour operators and taxis easily accommodate a scooter. This rollator folds easily for the plane trip, then can fit into any taxi trunk/storage area for transport. During our tours and excursions, he can sit and rest on the seat of the rollator while the rest of us wander. He could never expect his old, heavier and bulky rollator to be so flexible.Even though it looks and is relatively lightweight, it is much sturdier than it looks. It is put together well, welds look good, and it seems a great deal of design thought was put into this product. The rollator is a breeze to unfold and fold. The handle that collapses the seat/rollator doubles as a carry handle, though we find the rollator has to be carried high to keep it from hitting the ground. Wheels just glide along (we shall see on irregular surfaces) and the brakes work well. When sitting, though the seat depth is narrow, the seat is good enough to get off your feet, especially since the back sling offers support. The “parking” brakes work well–same concept as other rollators–and keeps the rollator from moving. The rollator is easily height-adjustable; my husband is 5’9″ and could add plenty of additional handle height, if needed, on the standard-height unit.We purchased, separately, the Stander replacement basket organizer that hangs under the seat. Though it doesn’t seem to be available on Galenus Medical, it can be purchased elsewhere. It’s nice because it folds and unfolds along with the rollator–no need to remove. So far, we are very happy with this purchase–and the price makes it even more desirable.
