Sturdy. Easy to steer and push. Seat is narrow. We use a traditional transporter outside and plan on using this inside in place of using the seat on a walker. Wanted something that could be pushed under a table. Handle is less comfortable than our other transporter

The Hopelight transport chair came fully assembled and ready to use. The brakes seem to be properly adjusted so the product I received was ready for use upon unboxing. Simply unfold the chair, flip to lock the two red levers at the base next to the rear tires and it is good to go.While this product could be used as a wheelchair to push someone around throughout the day, I feel the design is best suited as a transport chair for getting someone to or from hospitals, physical therapy sessions, doctor visits, etc. This chair is light and compact enough to easily fit in most vehicles and it fold and unfolds with almost no effort, so much better than using a standard wheelchair.I found this transport chair to be mostly comfortable. Both armrests fold out of the way so that the user can sit onto the chair from either side. The seat and backrest are comfortable to sit on, the armrests are a little on the thinner side, but they are padded and do the job. Keeping in mind that this product was designed to be lightweight, convenient, and easy to use I did not expect it to be as comfortable and functional as it is. The only thing that can be improved on is the footrest, it may be a little high for taller individuals. I am 5’7″ of average build and fit in the chair just fine, however, I do have a hip problem and placing my feet on the footrest did bring a bit of discomfort to my bad hip while my hip adjusted to the position. If the chair allowed the user to adjust the height of the footrest, it might make this an even better transport chair. With a bad hip, I was able to get into and out of the chair with no problem, so it feels stable, just make sure to lock the brakes in place when getting in and out of the chair.Although the chair is lightweight, it does feel well made and the large rear wheels on this chair greatly helps with maneuverability and transporting someone through various terrains. Overall, I feel this is definitely a transport chair worth considering if someone is in need for a chair that is lightweight, comfortable, portable, and so easy to use and store away, it even comes with a nice storage bag for when not in use.

I got this chair for my daughter who is 5 foot 4 and 180 lbs. Though she fit in this chair, it was very narrow and the footrest was too high, leaving her knees up high which squished her belly in an uncomfortable position. This chair would be ideal for maybe a petite elderly person, but not for us. Otherwise, I like the big wheels on this chair.

This is a great wheelchair that is super portable and lightweight. It can be folded then pulled with handle and it even comes with storage bag. It’s really a full featured wheelchair with feet rest and arm rests but it can only handle a person up to 220lbs in weight but I would probably say max at 200lbs to be safe. If you have a need to transport someone that is less than 200lbs in weight on a wheelchair, then this is a great option especially given the portability.** DISCLAIMER: I received this product for free through Vine program in exchange for my honest opinion, and that is what I have offered here. I’m not a “give everything 5 stars” person and I only give 5 stars to products that exceeds expectation or provides exceptional values so I hope this was helpful.

I can’t find anything negative to say about this wheelchair. It’s really good looking and folds and unfolds as easy as any child’s stroller. It arrived fully assembled. All we had to do was unbox it and open it. The size is perfect to meet our needs. While it accommodated the weight without any problems; it could be a little too narrow for some huskier individuals. The wheels adapted to every terrain we will transverse. Getting it in and out of the car is a cinch. I particularly like the extended handle. It’s as easy as traveling with a small suitcase on wheels. I also like the addition of the storage bag which keeps it neat and clean when not in use. The storage bag is made so well, I think we could probably check the chair in at the airport. The padding on the seat and back is very comfortable and the mobility of the arms aid in getting in and out of the chair with ease.

Review for: Folding Ultralight Lightweight Wheelchair, Transport Wheelchair for Adults Support 220lbs with Foldable Pedals and Flip-Backs Arms, Handbrake & Storage Bag 12″ Rear Wheels, Black (Seat Width:15.5″)Pros:*This chair is so easy to maneuver*There is no assembly required*The arms fold up making easier to transfer*lightweight but sturdy – still has weight to it not very light but compared to others this is lightweight (weighs 25 pounds)*the wheelchair with handle makes transporting it so easy – like rolling a suitcase*Very easy to use and stow.Cons:*very narrow seating (Seat Width:15.5) – like for a child or a petite adult standard person may feel a bit crammed; can be used with a standard adult but person may feel more comfortable with arms folded up and for short distance.*high foot rest – perfect for child but uncomfortable for tall people.*Caution: MAKE SURE the red plastic fasteners are latched on fully otherwise chair will fold forward when person sits on it.*Fasteners are plastic that may not last long with regular usage (folding and unfolding)Bottom line: nice transport chair. It would not be good for use in place of a wheelchair if you are wheelchair bound. As a transport chair definitely gets the job done.

This is an EXCELLENT lightweight wheelchair. I really like that the wheelchair is collapsible and compact. I like that the wheelchair can be assembled in seconds. I also like that the wheelchair can hold a weight up to 220lbs. I like that the wheelchair has brakes to keep the chair from moving out of place. I also like that the wheelchair has solid wheels to prevent them from getting flat. The wheelchair is very comfortable. I like that the wheelchair has a travel handle. Traveling with this wheelchair is a breeze. I like that the wheelchair comes with a storage bag with a handle for easy carrying.
Customer Review –
This Folding Ultralight Lightweight Transport Wheelchair by Hopelight arrives fully assembled so you can’t make any ‘mistakes’ putting it together. It it easy enough to open up the chair and there are plastic tabs that lock it in the upright position. The seat is comfy enough, but admittedly pretty narrow, so not a good choice for a bariatric person. The foot rest folds out from underneath the seat, but unfortunately it is in a weirdly high position, so not great for someone with long legs. I wish the foot rest’s position was adjustable. It took a bit to figure out how to compress the chair back into the compressed position. The manufacturer includes a nice storage bag and there is a handle underneath the seat to roll the chair like a rolling suitcase. It weighs in at 25 lbs. so much lighter for getting it in and out of the car.

Easy to fold and lightweight makes it easier to put in your trunk or backseat. I was quite surprised by the sturdiness of this considering how lightweight it is. The wheels roll smoothly and can tackle grass or dirt. A quick way to transport those with mobility issues without taking up much room. It gets the job done.
