Easy-peasy. We are first-time shoppers for a transport chair to get hubby from A to B. Works for a heavier, almost 6-foot guy. Sturdy. Easy assembly. Rolls smoothly. Folds to the size of a medium suitcase. Lightweight. Compact, seat is like the size of our dining chairs. The arms are close but fine, and easy to prop on or reach when getting situated. Hubby says it’s comfortable. Rolls through standard doorways, which is a must for travel (or around the house, if needed). Hand grips are comfortable and nicely spaced apart. Quality fabric and finishes. Nice color (blue). Quick delivery. We are satisfied customers.

If you are looking for a very compact, lightweight, wheelchair to keep in your vehicle, then look no further than this one. My wife has Parkenson’s and I have used 4 different wheelchairs for her. I searched high and low to find a compact, lightweight wheelchair to put in the trunk of our Ford Fusion, our Ford Explorer, and Ford Expedition. The ones we have are either too heavy, too bulky, or both! The key takeaways with this wheelchair is that the back folds down, and shortens the height. I have another one that does that, but it is very heavy. The unit scissors into a flat unit, and the foot rests can be taken off, taking even more size off the unit. The foot rests are adjustable, which is big plus. I cannot get over how lightweight it is. The smaller wheels allow it to be compacted very small. We use this to take in our vehicle and go out in public with friends. If you want something around the house that stays, then look at other units. If you want a compact, lightweight wheelchair to carry in your vehicle. this is it. We purchase a bag that rests on the back of the wheelchair section and we are set to go in public. Very fast delivery, fair price, good quality. We are 100% happy. The absolute ONLY thing is it can get a little annoying taking the footrests off of the chair to put into your vehicle. You don’t have to do that, but to get it really compact, you have to do this. If you have shorts stops in town, it gets a little annoying tearing it down each time with foot rests, but hey, we are very happy!

This held up way better than I thought it would. It’s amazing quality for the price. I took it across the country with me and TSA really gave it a beating. Then I took it off roading in a field of daffodils and it didn’t break and still works well. The thing is light, easy to push, and easy to maneuver. It’s also easy to put it together and take it down to go in a vehicle. Definitely get yourself a cushion though.*Edited to add:Wow this thing made my life a billion times easier. I made a few modifications, but I use it all day everyday. It’s not pretty anymore but it has held up very, very well. I have used it constantly for about 6 months and it still works like the first day. I use it around my house and just use my feet to push it around. (obviously this wouldn’t work if you are paralyzed from the waist down, but I just have bad balance so I can still use my feet). This chair is awesome because it is a little less wide than a conventional chair and it can fit through doorways better. I also cut the handles off the back (with a sawzall and I put Plasti dip on them) so that I could turn around easier. I am going to use this thing until it falls apart and I don’t see that happening anytime soon.

My husband is in a wheelchair and this is perfect for me. I only weigh 115 and am 5 ft tall and can get this in and out of the car very easily to move him around. It’s very light!!

We bought this wheelchair for my 89 year old mom who is small built–120 lbs. It is roomy for her and she liked the hot pink trim! She thought she was rockin’ it! This is a great buy and is intended for transport–not for sitting for long time periods. It was easy to fold and lock in secure position. We chose the small size because it is easier to get into and out of the trunk. If she were going to something where she might be in it for a couple of hours, she would need another cushion because the bottom and back are sort of like a “sling.”–a little slack but need extra cushion for a 2 hour sit. I thought she might object that she does not need a wheelchair, but she loved the hot pink and we are using it to stabilize her on ice or when she gets light-headed. Great product at good price and a good idea for any person who is a fall risk during transit.

Great wheelchair for minimal use. Back folds down and clicks into place when put back up, which makes it a little flimsy-loose feeling in the handle bars. Used for a week long trip to Disney, over all used for about 3 months. Surprised how great it maneuvered on various grounds. This is sized for a child or very petite adult. Foot rests are easy to attach and remove. Very light weight and easy to fold. Comes with a safety belt that is adjustable to size. Because this is a transport chair, user is not able to push themselves. Wouldn’t recommend for long term use though.

Bought this to transport my 92 year old mother when walker is not appropriate. Used it yesterday. Is very light & easy to load into my car. Waiting for cushion to arrive.

This chair was a lifesaver for my wife on a long 2 week trip! My wife had to have emergency surgery for a ruptured appendix 8 days before we were to leave on our vacation. This was a trip we had planning for 8 months and had pre-paid most of the hotel rooms. Going on the trip was was in jeopardy, but as she recovered the doctor cleared her to go as long as she took it easy. I got on Galenus Medical to see what I could find. Regular wheelchairs that the person in it were more expensive for ones that looked well built. This companion chair was rated as the second best quality out of six. It was also available in her favorite color. I got it on sale for $40.00 off on sale. Previous reviews said that the basic seat it comes with gets uncomfortable so I also purchased a recommended memory foam seat cushion. We put quite a few miles on the chair at many destinations. It is well built! The only caution would be to watch out for bumps or cracks as the tires are solid and can cause issues going over them. It rolls effortlessly on tile or cement! Very happy!!!
